The Kind of Review I Wish Others Would WriteI have a 2 bedroom apartment. I needed a futon-like, small couch for my home office so I had somewhere to sleep when giving visitors my bedroom. I do my due diligence when it comes to searching for the best deal and quality. I read tons of reviews and look at pictures. I wavered on this one as a few reviews were pretty bad, but most were good so I decided to give it a try. I took a lot of pictures from the beginning to the end…the kind of review I wish others would take the time to share. I am not very mechanical, so was a bit worried on how to put it together. Thank god there was literally only 3 steps! The hardest part is taking it out of the box. The box was glued so tight I almost paid a neighbor to get it out. When it was finally out of the box, I slid it into my office. Turned upside down, step one is unzipping the pouch, pulling out the pillow and assembly screws. Step 2 is putting on the legs with 4 long screws for each leg. I was so proud of myself after getting step 2 done until I realized I screwed two of the legs backwards and had to unscrew and do it again. Did I tell you I was not mechanical? Then the final step is 3 – screwing in the bar that ends up being the back for the long pillow. It is a sturdy little couch, quality built with good fabric. The arms mechanically go up and down fine. I was able to move the finished couch upright with a little struggle as it is kind of heavy. I laid down on it and as a 5’4 BBW Beauty, it was surprisingly comfortable with room to stretch. I am very happy with this purchase. It is definitely worth the buy and a wonderful sleeping alternative for those in small spaces. You have 9 pictures to get an idea of the entire process. Okay I have to go now. I am behind in a grad class, need to write a report for work, and promised my brother I would SEO his website. Perhaps this long and articulate review isn’t about what I wish others would write. It just might be ME procrastinating. Oh well…ME procrastinating = a great review for YOU.

4 Years Later… Keep Looking, trust me.4 years later, what do I think of this Loveseat? It comes out the gate strong, but doesn’t have the endurance to last. The first year, I really enjoyed it. Going from no couch to finally having one blinded me from the cons. The size is nice and small, the lowerable arm rests turn it into a semi decent place to sleep, and the pegs holding it up are strong and durable. HOWEVER, the padding on the seat bit leaves a heck of a lot to be desired. It becomes a literal pain in the behind if you sit on it too long. Not to mention the back pillow! Who the h e double hockey sticks decided to make the back brace just a bent metal bar? The back pillow constantly slips through and the bar starts digging into your back. I had to buy additional pillows just to make this thing comfortable. I will admit, it comes in handy in a pinch if you have an unexpected sleepover, but goodness me this thing just barely scrapes by in the comfy department. I had to buy a rectangular pad for the sitting part as well. For the price I paid, just under two hundred, I got just about what I paid for; a painfully basic foldout loveseat. For the price they are offering now, you would have to be borderline desperate for a loveseat as the current price of three hundred to over four hundred is mind bogglingly off putting rip off. I would NEVER pay that much for this thing. There HAS to be better loveseats for that kind of money. Overall it’s just okay. Not horrible, but definitely not worth what they’re asking for. Two hundred fifty max.

Very nice functionality and size but the mustard color was not as shown in photos.Sofa didn’t look the same in person- color was a little jarring and the fabric bunched up too much where the arms were in the upright position. Nice size and fairly comfortable though.

Long Read but Only HonestyI was looking to add a couch in my bedroom. Looking for a small couch was clearly, not the easiest thing to do. I happen to find this couch and I just needed to make sure that it fit where I wanted it against a wall that was close to 60″ in length and the couch was at 52″ in length. It fit perfectly.Impressions before purchase: Am I going to be able to lay on this couch if I wanted to? I’m a little over 6′ feet tall so I figured sitting would be the only option.Impressions after the couch were mailed and assembled: First, I was a little scared when it came in the mail because the arms were extended down to the full length of about 70″. Not really a big scare just buyer beware. Another thing is that once I had the legs on the couch already installed I got frustrated for a couple of minutes because I thought the manufacturer forgot the backing to the couch. That was not the case. The directions did not specify very well (in my opinion) where this was but once you take the couch out of the box and you have the couch laid down bottom facing up. On the bottom of the couch where the legs go and there usually is like a black cotton covering underneath. There is actually a little space zippered up where your couch backing is. Another buyer beware. FYI.And to answer my first point about laying on the couch. I have to cross my legs a little but otherwise laying down on the couch does not feel that bad. Yes, it would feel better if the arms were down but the way my couch is positioned I can NOT use that function of the couch. Otherwise, my final thoughts on the couch is that I am very satisfied how everything looks and how easy it was to assemble the couch. The only one problem I have with the couch is where the couch backing is behind it is this metal bar. Its hard to explain but if you go to the product description and one of the photos shows you the couch and where the backing would be there is a bar. I was not sure what that was before I purchased it but it goes behind the backing to hold it in place. Now for me it does not bother me that I do not have to look at the backing because it’s against the wall. For people who have the couch out kind of in the middle of a space where the bar can be seen it may bother you a little bit and be quite of an eye sore. One suggestion if you happen to have this couch in the center of space is try un-zippering the backing on the bottom and see if the backing can slide onto the metal bar so this was you can hide the bar. I have NOT tried this because again it does not bother me but just a suggestion.

Nice for a small spot!Cute little couch – it’s just what I needed to add a sitting spot (that’s not my bed) in the bedroom. While it is good for just me to enjoy about an hour of relaxation, it is not a couch that’s made for 2 people watching a movie – this sitting experience felt uncomfortable and crowded! But it looks nice and does it job – for just one and for under just one hour!

Suitable for a dorm or kid’s roomAssembly was simple and it seems reasonably sturdy. Color is neutral and not weird, and blends in ok. The seat cushion is very firm tho, and the backrest is a joke (I didn’t bother with bar and just shoved the whole unit against the foot of my bed). A good use is probably in a dorm room or kid’s room, for throwing clothes and books onto and occasional sleepovers. I bought mine for my dog and she does sleep on it (unlike her other beds) after I added several pillows. Worth it to buy if on sale but not at full price.
