Great chair for a fat guy.I recently purchased a $347.00 La-Z-Boy office chair. It looked amazing, and quality was superb, but it was soooo uncomfortable. I very rarely return anything, but it was so hard and awkward, that I actually took the time to disassemble, box, and ship it back for a refund. I did a lot of research and found that all of the chairs for big people had mixed love or hate reviews. I decided to try this chair. The price was ok, and the reviews were ok, and the picture looked as if it didn’t have too much lumbar or leg ‘support’. The La-Z-Boy had so much, that it stopped the circulation in my legs, and pushed me forward so far, that it was unnatural for sitting.I put this together, not expecting too much. I’m not very tall (5’9″), but I do have some girth. I’m 350lbs. Unfortunately, anything that’s made for weight, is also made for height. The seat is very deep. That is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5 for me. For someone with really long legs, I’m sure it would be perfect. The chair was easy to assemble, especially after putting the La-Z-Boy together and taking it apart. Took me about 20 minutes, tops. It had green locktight on the bolts already. I added a little red, just to be sure. I read some reviews that said that the bolts worked themselves loose. I’m pretty sure red will keep them in place. The chair is very comfortable. I can sit in it all day without anything hurting. I can’t say how long the padding will hold up, but it feels great right now. I’ve been using it daily for about 3 weeks now. The back does not recline separately from the seat, but it does recline as a whole. As I said, for me the seat is a little too deep, and a little more padding might make me feel better about longevity, but it is very comfortable, and for the price, I’m happy with it so far. I’ll update the review if it wears out too quickly.

Best chair I’ve had. Big enough that my dog can hang out in it with me.I am neither big, nor tall, but I got this chair with a specific purpose in mind: I like to sit with my legs pulled up and crossed, and I have an 18-pound terrier who likes to nap in my lap while I game. I saw reviews saying that the seat was too deep, and that the back was a little shorter than average, but those reviews were a big part of why I bought it.I barely scrape 5′ tall, and my legs are a little short, and this chair is perfect for what I wanted. Back of the chair comes up to just above my head, and I have plenty of extra room to spare in seat depth when I cross my legs. Tiny Doggo is supported well and happily naps for hours, and the padded armrests are ideal for him resting his head on. I’m pretty comfy too, since the padding is comfortable. Not stiff or overstuffed. Not the most common use of the product I know, but if you are, like me, a small person who likes to have room for a Tiny Doggo in your computer chair with you, or are raising a puppy who likes to be with you all the time (this is precisely how I got into this position), or just want a really big chair, you might want to give this chair a look. If you’re tall, it might actually fit your legs pretty well. The back is taller than my head when I’m sitting in it, so it really is pretty tall.Only thing I’d advise other folks about is that it can be a challenge to push the pieces snugly enough together when you’re building it. I thankfully had a helpful extra pair of hands in the house to help me hold the pieces in place while I put them together. If you’re planning to put it together yourself, it’ll still be worth doing, but you might need to make sure you can put enough pressure on them to screw the parts together properly.

Easy to Assemble and pretty comfy tooAfter reading a ton of reviews, I have to say, this was far easier to assemble then the last chair I owned. I was able to do so on my own with no issues. The pictorial directions were easy to follow and everything was labeled so it was super easy and only took me about 20 min. I did have my husband retighten the bolts just to make sure I had them as tight as they should go after I had it together. The headrest and back hits perfect for me, but I could see how someone who is very tall might find it a bit on the short side. I’m 5’7”ish. Most of my height is in my legs so the back and height of the chair were perfect for me. My only very small complaint was because I’m not terribly tall, the seat depth is a little too deep for me if I want to sit up and have lumbar support from the back. I feel like it is more than sturdy enough to support either me or my hubby. Best purchase I have made for working from home! It also arrived way sooner than the longest estimate. I ordered it on a Sunday and got it on Tuesday.

Very sturdy and comfortableReceived my chair in good condition even though the box was large and heavy. The chair was packed well and only took a few minutes to assemble. The pictorial process was easy to follow and went well with the supplied hardware and tool. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable and supportive this chair is. I am a large male and this chair has ample room for my 6 foot frame. The only downside to this chair that I have found is that when sitting in the chair normally the chair controls (on the right side) are not easy to operate. The controls do operate smoothly but one needs to “slouch” to the right in order to get to the control lever. All-in-all this chair is well worth the cost and looks like it will last a long time.

ComfortableWe ordered two of these and one of them has a back that’s slightly crooked. Not a big deal and doesn’t affect how comfortable it is. I will say they are very roomy, we’re easy to assemble, and are very comfortable.
