Description
Based on the traditional use of shoji rice paper in Japanese homes, this folding room divider doubles down on Eastern style with a beautiful cherry blossom print. Shoji paper is renowned for its ability to allow diffused light while still creating a solid barrier for privacy, and ours comes fiber-reinforced for added durability. This extra-tall divider is built from sturdy spruce, and features a wooden kick plate at the bottom to guard against scuffs.

The artwork is definitely less detailed.It’s what I needed and sturdy, but the art looks like someone’s average attempt at copying the actual picture. It is the size I needed though and relatively stable and sturdy.

Why did the price jump?I would say it is fine. Not as nice as the picture. More troubling is that I just paid $267 for the 5 panel and the price (one week later) is $414. No idea how that is possible but you can buy this somewhere else cheaper. My review would have been better otherwise.

Very usable room dividers.Can’t say enough about these room dividers. They have heavier than expected rice paper which helps diffuse the incoming light. Tall enough that it blocks vision from the outside into the house which had been a huge problem. Light enough to be able to move panels but heavy enough to stand sturdy.
