Great, simple sturdy desk.If you’re looking for a simple, modern, sturdy, well built desk then this is a great buy.It took about 10 days to receive it after I placed the order. The box looked like it had been in a bar room fight, but the desk arrived with only one minor bit of damage (more below.) It is packaged well, with several sheets of Styrofoam for protection (which will also make your house look like Christmas snow for a few days. Be sure to sweep up immediately after assembly!) The legs were protected by bubble wrap, which is also a great stress reliever when you need a break from assembly.After removing all of the parts, I did discover that the front left corner of the desk was damaged. It looks like it was dropped and part of the top layer of the desk is cracked and slightly raised up. It’s not enough damage for me to box everything back up and return it, but it is aggravating. I may contact the seller to see if I can get a replacement desktop, if I do I will update this review. (Minus 1/2 star for the damage.)Assembly was actually quite easy. I was able to assemble the desk in about 1.5 hours by myself (not including the 45 minutes it took me to fix a mistake I made where I put part of it on backwards.) The instructions were easy to follow, with only one diagram being a little hard to read but it was easy to figure it out.There were plenty of screws and hardware, even had a few screws leftover once finished. No parts were missing.I’ve knocked off another 1/2 star because the phillips head screws that are included are a little cheap. The heads are VERY easy to strip out, I used a screwdriver to assemble and when trying to tighten up the screws a few of the heads were stripped. This means that if you need to disassemble and move the desk, you may need to purchase new screws for reassembly.Once completed, the desk looks great. It’s very sturdy and not wobbly at all. The main desk is sturdy enough to sit on top of, but the return is not as structurally sound. It’s not going to fall down, but I wouldn’t put a lot of weight on the return.All-in-all I’m very happy with this desk. It’s a little pricey for a plan white desk, but the quality of the build is worth the price.

great deskThis desk is good quality for the price. Hardware consists of socket and Philips -head machine screws. Cable management covers on desk top are metal, not plastic as with most desks. Assembly was simple, though I would recommend waiting until the end to tighten all screws (someone on another site complained about metal not being straight. I don’t see how this could generally be a problem) . To address the lack of storage, I bought a bolt on desk drawer from Amazon and a drawer set from the major flat-pack furniture retailer (28″ height max, 26.5″ max to go under cross beam). There is a 1.5″ high cross beam under the main desk that would interfere with deeper drawers. The top of the desk is a slightly textured. There are threaded feet with plastic bottoms included for minor adjustment of height (estimate about .5″ from memory)/ ability to level desk.Only con was desk shipped with some missing hardware (and some extra). Two machine screws were missing, which were not critical, as well one of the feet, which is critical (I have cardboard under one of the feet for now). Easy to assemble and a Sturdy DeskThis desk was so easy to assemble; I did it myself in about an hour. It is solid and sturdy, I bought it to sew and embroidery on. I have not had a chance to do either and I do fear I might need to reinforce it a bit more. My machines are heavy and big and can do over a thousand stitches a minute, and using the desk this way was not advertised. I actually thought I might have to reinforce it so that’s not on the company or the product. I also spent hours checking prices and this is the best price anywhere! As for the actual desk. It is solid, the top has a nice thick layer of laminate on it and there were extra bolts for each of the three sizes. The instructions are clear, at least they were for me, but I admit I have put together a lot of this kind of product. I have been the go-to girl for Christmas assembly for as long as I can remember. If I were looking for another desk of this size and color, I would purchase it again.

Disregard the negative reviews, it arrived perfect!This desk looks perfect, fits perfect in my living space. It did not arrive damaged nor missing any parts. It’s very sturdy and thick, it was well worth the money. It’s bigger/wider than expected but that wasn’t an issue at all. Only issue I have is it arrived different from what the picture show, as far as the wire holes (pic provided). If you’re having any doubts about purchasing this desk, toss them aside and BUY IT! promise you’ll love it.

Quality deskThis is a five star desk all the way. I bought 2 of them for my wife’s craftroom/office. They are super heavy duty and the packages were well made to protect the 100+ pound box from destroying the contents.I was most impressed by the fasteners that are built into the underside of the desk, they are the connection points for the legs and spine and they are incredibly solid. I tried to see if I could begin to strip one via over tightening, but I could not. I used a screwdriver at first and was trying so hard to begin to strip a desk fastener to see how tight I could go before damaging desk and ending up giving myself a blister on my hand. Got out the RIDGID 18V Drill to finish the job.I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Great desk little hiccup in putting it togetherMy husband and I both have this desk. It is large and great for our work space. Unfortunately, my desk came with holes not matching up. Was very frustrating for my husband (who is a mechanical engineer.) He is handy, so he drilled new holes himself to fix the problem.He also has the same exact desk and his came perfect and was easy to put together. That said we are happy with the desks. If you purchase just know that you might need to do some altering to the desk to make it work.

Holes machined wrong3.75 starsThe machined holes in the desk table top were 1/4 in off preventing me from screwing in one side of the table leg. (30×60) piece. I was lucky in that the wider piece had the large brace that gave it added stability, unfortunately I ran into the exact same problem on the return piece (20in) piece. By sheer luck I was able to use a second screwdriver as leverage to pull the screw over just enough for it to grab, if I hadn’t, there’s no way the return side would have been stable.If the holes had been machined correctly, this would easily be a 5 star desk. It’s great material and solid. But having solid pieces won’t do you much good if your screw is 1/4 off and you can’t put them together.
