10 reviews for Prepac Milo Mid Century Modern Dresser, 6-Drawer, White

Not as difficult as previous reviews stated…Paid for the extra shipping to have delivered inside my apartment – highly recommend. Separating the pieces, drawers and body was super helpful. Package arrived with no broken or missing pieces but there are scratches – nothing a wood pen can’t fix. I assembled this alone. Took me about 2 hours total. Assembled the drawers first, super quick. A bit hard lifting the body of the dresser alone but it is doable.Really surprised by the reviews regarding difficulty of following the instructions or assembly. It was pretty darn easy just time consuming.Power drill and hammer make the assembly a breeze, recommend having them!Overall very happy with this piece as a place to store socks underwear pjs and workout wear.

Decent Product for ValuePretty easy to assemble if your handy and can read instructions. My husband and I had it put together in about 2 hours. We received the item with some minor scratches (I will fill in with a brown wood marker) and a chipped wood piece off the side piece of a drawer (we gorilla glued it). I do dislike receiving furniture that is scuffed or broken but it seems you can’t avoid it. Over all it’s sturdy and pretty to look at. Drawers slide well. The handles are more of an antique brass or gold, dark in color. I was expecting a shiner gold color. Also didn’t expect it to be as tall as it was. Worth the $238 plus tax that I paid for it. If this is in your budget its great. I’d say if you can afford more you could definitely get something better. Over all we’re satisfied.

Final Product Is A Beaut.Well, it didn’t come with an instruction manual. I’m a big boy and all but I wasn’t gonna try putting it together on my own so I emailed their team. As that was over the weekend, they responded the following Monday with the PDF. Was glad to get started and realized none of the pieces were labeled. Took me a little longer, but hey, still a big boy. They were missing 1 Zinc Cam but said screw it and actually very happy with the end product. None of the boards were beat up at all and it looks great! Oh and I believe it came a few days earlier than expected too, so that was nice.

Pieces are not lettered/numbered.None of the pieces are lettered or numbered as they are in the instruction manual so you’ll have to take a lot of time trying to figure out what pieces are what, which is really frustrating and will make the assembly process take longer than it should.

Pay for the deluxe delivery with assemblyIt’s fine. It’s cheap, but it will do the job. Pay for the assembly. It took the two delivery people over 2 hours to assemble it and I could hear them groaning about the complexity and how many pieces it was in. It comes in a “flat pack” and it’s cheap compressed wood. Think worse than assembling ikea furniture – looks nice assembled and I’m glad I paid someone else to do it.

Quality for price, easy to assembleOverall I really like this dresser! I changed the drawer handles (also ordered from Amazon) to give it a slightly different look. I’m a female in my 20s and I built this by myself, I needed help carrying the box to my room because it definitely was heavy! But once the box is open taking the pieces out and building it by yourself it totally manageable. It took me probably 2-2.5 hours, but I also was taking my time and listening to a podcast while building.I’m sorry— but the people who say the drawers don’t fit or that the pieces don’t line up just probably aren’t great at building things haha. It was time consuming but it really wasn’t hard, and all of the pieces line up exactly how they are meant to. I used a drill which helped but definitely can be done with just a screwdriver and hammer for the small nails.I WILL say the directions aren’t the best, (but I’ve also seen muchhhh worse), you just have to pay attention and take your time when screwing things in. The drawer wheel tracks for the Left/Right sides are color coded which actually helps a LOT.I took off 1 star because some of the pieces already have a few chips/scratches in them as shown in the second photo 🙁 not a huge deal and it should be easy enough to paint over, and I guess things like that are to be expected with this price point but still disappointingOverall- pleased with the dresser for this price

  7. Amazon Customer

Assembly was difficultThe instructions are vague and the pieces are not marked so it’s a guessing game when trying to assemble. We put it together and took it apart several times along the way due to this issue. Some of the edges were scuffed pretty bad but we’re easily camouflaged with a furniture marker. Good value for the cost but definitely set some time aside for trial and error when putting it together.

GreatSturdy. Had some minor imperfections and It took some effort to assembly, had to be very careful. It looks nice and the drawers work fine. I changed the knobs to wicker which gave it some life.I’m satisfied.

Good option for those who need storage in a little spaceThis was chosen for my daughter’s college apartment for the price, size, and style – exactly in that order. It goes with her room perfectly, though we will be swapping out the drawer pulls. There’s not a thing wrong with them, but there are better choices for her decor. She put it together by herself and said the instructions were easier to follow than most of the Ikea stuff she’s assembled. It is perfect for a small room and looks great across from a full-sized bed. Her TV is hanging above it and there’s plenty of room on top for display. We looked at literally hundreds of white dressers that were under 54″ long and not overly deep. This is stylish enough for a young adult and I see it lasting for as long as she needs it.

It’s not as bad as I expectedThis is a cheap 1 box- million part- dresser. You get what you pay for. It was easier to assemble than I anticipated based on the reviews. Nothing is labeled, however things only make sense 1 way, so it’s pretty easy to figure out. Took my husband and I about 1.5 hours. Bought this for a guest room, so I don’t expect use, works perfectly for that. I wouldn’t put this anywhere that will get daily use as it will likely not hold up to the abuse. Partical board and laminate- but looks okay once in place.
