HappySo, my husband and I decided to do away with our hybrid spring memory foam pillow top mattress and replace with a memory foam on a platform bed mattress. A very big and risky change, that was honestly a little scary to do. We prefer a very soft mattress. We had just recently purchased a 4in memory foam mattress topper to go on our already very soft pillow top mattress, and fell in love with that memory foam. That 4 inch pillow top mattress is what sparked the idea I’ve going all memory foam. We got a 12 inch mattress, once it arrived we opened it play sit on the platform bed that we ordered, and let the mattress rise for 3 days. We got fancy bedding and was very excited to finally lay down on what we have been excited for. We read reviews some people said it’s too firm, some people said it’s too soft. The softness of a memory foam mattress cannot be compared 2 hybrid spring memory foam pillow top mattress oh, it is just not the same. It is not the same kind of soft, it is not the same kind of “get out of bed”, it is not the same kind of sit up in bed, it’s not the same it is a whole different world. The first few nights I slept on this mattress my sciatica pain went away, but then it started coming back. I felt that it was necessary to get a 2in memory foam topper to try to give back some of what my body was used to. Now I know that seems to sound a little redundant, but a memory foam mattress is different then a memory foam mattress topper. A memory foam mattress topper is much softer Dan a real memory foam mattress. I gave this mattress 4 stars because after sleeping on it, even with 2 inch topper, I will never go back to a spring mattress. The 2 inch topper was the only thing missing to make my nights a perfect sleep. I have read that sleeping on a memory foam mattress made people’s back pain go away. I have the common l5 s1 lower back issues, this mattress with the topper has helped me immensely. I’ve read that this mattress is hot, it is a little, I have a fan, the fan is good to neutralize sounds which provide even better sleep. And now I’m not hot anymore. I am glad that I made this purchase, this was a good change.

ReadSo I’ve waited a few nights sleep in order to review this. I’m gonna hit some topics that concerned me in the reviews. And my overall opinion of this bed. So as far as the soft/firm argument, I really think it’s based on what you personally enjoy. I personally believe this bed is on the soft side. You sink in a little, but it’s not dropping you to the floor. As far as smell goes, I, nor my wife, have noticed any weird smell at all. Maybe if you have really sensitive smell, there’s something, but I haven’t noticed anything. As far as the fiber glass deal goes – DON’T remove the cover. I wouldn’t think you should be removing it anyway honestly. Just get a mattress cover and wash that. Just don’t remove the cover. Then you won’t have an issue. The bed DID fully inflate to 12 inches, but even if it hadn’t, I’m not gonna get all mad about losing 1 inch. Okay, now that I’ve covered the topics most talked about. Here’s my personal opinion overall: I like the bed, to sleep in. Sitting on the bed is a little difficult due to the softness of it, but I prop myself up with pillows and it helps. Also, because you do sink in a little, you won’t need as many pillows to hold your head at a straight angle. I now just use 1 pillow instead of two. I do notice a difference in my comfort level, and I get to sleep much easier now. Our old bed was a spring mattress, so this being our first memory foam, it’s a little hard to get ideas to at first, but now I don’t think I’ll ever get a spring mattress again. I’ll update this review in a year or so to update the quality. But right now, I say I’m happy with my purchase and I would recommend the king mattress to those who like soft beds.

Sufficient but it’s no name brandPurchased approximately 2 years ago, so I have several nights on this mattress. We decided it was time to get a bigger bed, my 10yo Tempuredic was a little small with kids invading. We bought this mattress in 12” Cal King. Arrived quickly, allowed to expand for 48 hours. No weird smell, no issues. We later bought the same mattress in twin for one of the kids. Both are on platform bases.The bed, both sizes, is firm, and it hasn’t softened up over time. On a happy note, the mattresses haven’t drooped in the middle, they are holding up well. But man, firm. If my spouse and I fall asleep close, the mattress does create a bowl effect during that time. I don’t have to use a pillow when laying on my back, it is supportive in that sense, and a thick pillow is too high.Both adults and the kid are now waking up with back pain. I have just purchased a topper for the adult bed. The kid is asking for a new mattress that doesn’t cause back pain. This mattress has served it’s purpose, but my replacement will be a different brand.

Perfect for light weight people! Best mattress I’ve ever owned!SO many memory foam mattresses are too firm for me to sink into because I’m so small, so I went out of my way to get a plush mattress and about 60 days in I love it!

Amazing for arthritis and fibromyalgiaWe have needed a new bed for years.(I know so many ask how it supports – well, here’s a candid answer).I have Fibromyalgia, severe osteoarthritis, and a rare blood condition that’s slowly destroying my vascular structure, and killing my bones. (Fun times).So that said, pain and I are constant companions.In my old pillow top spring mattress, I was lucky to get 3 hours of sleep.We paired this with a zinus 14 inch platform frame, and also put a 9 inch box spring on that, (even though technically the frame doesn’t need one).So we have a California king that is 33 inches off the ground, and yes. It requires climbing – which keeps our kiddo at bay. ☺The difference was immediately noticeable. I am still in pain. (You don’t have health issues like mine and have pain just go poof. It’s not a storybook). However. It’s SO much easier to rest. I am not in agony just trying to lie in bed anymore.This is so worth it. You will ask yourself why you didn’t get it sooner.As someone who spent YEARS reviewing mattresses, I do not regret this. It is softer than the purported firmness. Also, I, like so many others, apparently had my mattress box sitting in a raptor pen before being airdropped to fed ex. While the box was in horrendous shape, the mattress was 100% fine. And it did fluff out to the full 12″.

Best money i’ve spent on amazonBest money i’ve spent on Amazon, honestly. This matress is GREAT and such a great price i’m more than satisfied. Even my kids loved the comfort of it and asked for the same matress for their room.

I don’t think it’s supposed to be this comfortableI bought his bed thinking it was pretty comfortable, wrong ! It’s beyond comfortable, I get such a deep sleep. My dreams are better than ever. It took me few days to adjust to the foam gel world, but I highly recommend to people who need deep sleeps . Careful, it’s super comfy.

Not plush, but very comfortableI have had the bed for just over a month. It expanded up to full size in about 24 hours. I would not call this plush, more on the medium firm side, but it is very comfortable. I love a very soft bed and would have never picked this one out if I was testing them at the store, but it seems to be working. I no longer have neck or back pain. I am hoping that it will soften up over time, but we will see.

Perfectly amazing and comfy!!!After 3 other beds that my husband complained about daily, this he does not complain about. He is a truck driver he sleeps in his truck during the week. That being said he can’t wait to come home and hop in this bed! Yay me for buying a good one. I have back, hip, and shoulder issues for at least 20 years. I used to wake up barely able to walk. Now none of that!! This bed is amazing! Paired with satin sheets oh boy I don’t want to get up in the morning. Weekends I used to be up at 5/6am because my body just hurt that bad. This is the first time in years I slept in til 10! Kids even like this. I’m thinking of getting them one as well. Oh and my mom loves it her, and her boyfriend are waiting on theirs now!! You won’t be sorry buying this!!
