So glad I didn’t let a few bad reviews sway meHands down the BEST money spent this Christmas on our 2 yr old girl. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this table & chairs set. It is so sturdy 175lbs doesn’t even begin to threaten the stability of one of these chairs being used as a stool. This purchase has sooo many ways to use it from the table as a coffee table, as an end table & chairs tucked in make for shelving, step stools, a desk if u flip table other way (makes little privacy screen in front of it too, looks like the grown ups), of course the table and chairs, and I’m sure I’ll find more as we grow lol. The clear coat is very nice making it waterproof too. I’ts no joke as far as weight goes it’s heavy, dont be fooled. It wont tip over stool nor desk without A LOT of force and for me that is perfect. I feel bad for other reviewers but let me say that even if mine came with scratches, a gouge, etc… which it didn’t, but if so for the price I’d have sucked it up as this set could easily be sold as commercial grade pre K & Kindergarten grade furniture … yep, that nice! Like $400 + nice. So to me I’d see a ding as a discounted steal but that’s me & I get why u deserve what is shown of course. Returning this would NOT be fun gulp!! I plan to use it as a coffee table after she gets too big. We tested it as such and now I regret not having a second. I mean look around folks at what $200 gets you for a coffee table. This is real wood!! Bent too, no screws, no nails. You get laminate covered particle board right! This blows anything in that range away (a little smaller wish it was 6 inches longer but hey) Thank you soooooo much for making this affordable for every day people like us. Keep up the nice work! CoolWorks as weaning table for my Montessori baby. Only thing is that my son’s feet don’t reach the floor no matter which side I put the chair on and he’s tall for a baby. So I dont know. Still works fine he’s been using it since 6 months. Will last a long time so I see it as an investment. My 7 year old niece and nephew sat at it no problem.

Sturdy but a little lop sidedIt’s a beautiful product and my lo loves sitting in it and doing activities on the table. Only ding is that the table waddles and doesn’t sit flush when on the floor. Would buy again.

Furniture that grows and adopts with the chldn’s needsThe chairs can be flipped in two directions to accommodate a taller or shorter child and the table can be upended to serve as a bench for seating two children side by side or, in the other direction, as a desk. The blond wood is a clean, minimalist look and versatile for young children in a wide age range. One of the best gifts we have given our grandchildren!

crack in chairGiving this 4* because there was a crack in the chair, but was able to get this reshipped with Amazon, with the replacement having no issues. However, I did try to reach out to ERC4Kids directly first to see if I can just get the chair swapped, but they said we have to go through Amazon, which basically means the full set had to be reswapped. The good news is that Amazon at least for my area has UPS pick up. So while it was a little frustrating to have to re-package the items since it’s large, overall it was as convenient as replacing something large could be.I also did notice a slight bulge on the table top where the middle slat is. However, this was not noticeable in the replacement.So overall, it’s a nice piece, but you’re taking a gamble with your order. If you get a good one on first go, great. But potentially be prepared to have to do a replacement.

Great to help your child become independentThere’s a lot to like about this Montessori-style table and chair set. Here are several reasons why I am super happy about this purchase:1. It is made of durable wood2. Easy to clean3. Adjusts to meet seating height needs of a wide variety of young children. When I first purchased this, my son was 21 months old. He could’ve used it when he was 12 months old, so I wished I’d bought it sooner.4. Extremely economical when you consider how long your child/children will be able to use it5. Table functions as a bench/ mini “couch” depending on how you position it.6. Your child will love to have a table that truly fits their height, because it’ll help enable them to be independent. My son likes to set his table and clear his own table after eating.7. Carry handle makes it convenient to move chairs in case it’s needed as a step stool or in another room, etc.8. Arrives fully assembledThe only disappointing things that happened during this purchase was that my package arrived extremely damaged. Damaged to the point that you could’ve passed a fully inflated basketball through 2 of the holes that were punched in the side of the box. Lucky for me, the holes exposed some very sparse packing material and amazingly didn’t leave the table open to scratches or dents. It was truly a miracle.Also, there were a couple of spots on the table where wood glue was used and the spots weren’t sanded. They’re pretty small but on the top of the table, so it’s a little annoying.All in all, I highly recommend this purchase. I do hope the manufacturer greatly improves their packing processes however.

Perfect transitional piece for older infants and toddlersI work at a childcare center in an infant room. As my infants are beginning to transition to self feeding, this is the perfect piece for that. Wether I have 1 or 2 at that phase. During the day it is a bench and 2 end tables in my reading area. During breakfast and lunch time I can flip it 1 of 2 ways depending on if I’m feeding 1 or 2 at the time. The desk mode is good for when you have 1 eater, the table mode is good for if you have 2 eaters. The chairs have 2 height levels. Making it a good transition piece for teaching an older infant how to sit in a chair while keeping safety at hand. I would start them out on the lower setting and move them to the higher setting once they have the control and no longer need the side height from the lower position. This is a great piece to teach gross motor control. This is a must have for anyone with an older infant or toddler/ 2 yr old. Especially if you work in an infant or toddler room. This is a sturdy 3in1 transitional piece. I don’t need a separate couch and table. It’s both of those things. I only wish I knew of this when my twins were little.
