A solid 3 stars … It nowhere near a SealyMy daughter’s 12″ twin Sealy is 17 years old and she is leaving home, but still needs a room and a bed to return to. The Sealy has been an awesome mattress and will be repurposed and our tiny cabin.I bought this mattress, knowing full well that it was not going to an everyday sleeper, and after getting it, sitting in it and sleeping on it, Ill tell you why.1) this mattress can’t be sat on least you end up in the floor. There is ZERO side support or reinforcement, and as such, it’s just like sitting on and compressing a few springs. The uncle mpressed springs on you backside use physics to make you want to slide off. That being said, this not a bed to buy an 8 year old that will have friends over and will use the bed like a couch. It will never last, and I give about a year and the sag on the repeated sitting area will be so horrible and misformed that you will regret not spending another $200 to get a bed with a reinforced edge. With an 8 year old in mind and this edge sitting wanting to pitch you into the floor, this Is NOT a bed you want the buy for an aging parent or they WILL be in the floor, hopefully not with a broken hip!2) it does offer a surprisingly comfortable sleep. My daughter has slept on it and I took a nap in it (I’m fused at 6 levels). This is a “soft medium” support. The Sealy we have us a medium firm. The whole mattress felt a shift side to side (there again, NO side support) but overall underneath support was adequate. With that being said, this day bruh no that this will serve fine as guest bed, or for the older teen young adult that is staying home for a few more years working their way way thru college.3) the pillow top is definitely needed, otherwise this would just be thick fabric wrapped around springs. For us, if the pillow top holds up for 5 years with my daughter on it until August, then home for the holidays and a week or two in the summer, plus occasional use by us at home as a guest bed, then I will have gotten my money worth. I do NOT see this pillow top holding up beyond 18-24 months with everyday use. I certainly recommend turning your mattress every 3-4 months (seasonally) to prolong life and get the most even wear.4) I do NOT recommend this mattress for anyone much over 200 lbs. My husband is 6-3 and 270 and flattened it like a pancake.5) I would NOT buy this mattress as a queen or king, not even sure about a full size. Read all of the comments above, and add sex on a bid with no side support and that structurally, the springs have significant compression over 200 lbs (keep reading)Ideal weight threshold for support for this medium soft mattress definitely diminishes FAST once you get over 200lbs. I’m 5-9 and right at 200 and feel the “squish” but I’m comfortable on it right now, 10 days out of the box. Daughter is 5-7 and 170 and noticeable decrease in the pancaking squish.Otherwise, the construction seems good. Seams look to be sewn in well. Their was no unbearable off gasing from being wrapped up like Ho-Ho roll. I let it sit outside on our deck in the sun for a day before bringing inside to flatten and neutralize and stray chemical pesticides that may have been sprayed in the fabric during processing or storage. This is a solid 3 stars in my opinion, but do please take note of the comments when evaluating your needs. You do get what you pay for. I could not Justify spending $500 on anotger Sealy that would know will not be used as much, and I definitely won’t be buying this as a replacement queen mattress for our Travel Trailer.4/13 update: the manufacturer reached out to me based on the above review and offered me see options. Top notch customer service that you seldom see from a company or seller anymore and for that they earn a another star. While this mattress is not perfect and has so much potential to be a really fantastic mattress, I look forward to see see side wall stabilization in the future and giving this another try.5 Stars for above and beyond customer serviceI still give this a solid 3 stars overall
I’m surprised. I like it. (update) Too soft for meUpdate:It’s too soft. I gave it a few weeks based on my chiropractors reccomendation. But it’s just too soft. It’s otherwise a good mattress. For me – I wake up with an ache in my lower back and a tightness that wasn’t there before. It’s just outside the return window, so I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it.—-Update:I’m surprised to be saying this but so far it’s comfortable. If I sit in it or stick my hand on it ,it feels too mushy… Like an air mattress without enough air. But sleeping on it I feel supported and supported. I sleep well.—–I’ll definitely do an update after a few days.Right now, it just feels mushy.Like – the opposite of medium firm. This will be my first night on it.

Time will tellTime will tell…so far the Queen mattress is pretty much what I expected . .If I get 10 years of use then I will truly be happy as the last mattress lasted 30 years with little change. It gain a little weight from moisture and dander I suspect. The support was just starting to show wear but the fabric was fine .
nice mattressI like it, I thought it would be a bit more firm…. But nice purchase overall

Unfortunately, caused my back to ache but the customer service for returning was great!I had major back pain while sleeping on this mattress, just short of a month’s time. I decided to return it but found the online return less than helpful. After Goggling, I contacted Amazon customer service by telephone and was directed to the heavy and bulky items customer service side. Lucille, was extremely helpful and refunded my purchase price with no problem. Supposedly, I will receive that refund back in approximately 10 days. I have to say that even though the mattress didn’t work out, and I did so want it to, Amazon’s customer service for returning this item was spectacular! This type of mattress was recommended by my daughter who has a memory foam and loves it, but it just wasn’t for me. Revised 1/25/22: Manufacturer’s customer service agent issued me a $100 Amazon gift card (to be used as soon as possible) for my trouble, asking me to revise my previous edit to remove my last sentence, which I have done. Revised 1/16/22: Do with this as you will. Manufacturer customer service emailed me to ask for my suggestions on what would make my sleep experience more comfortable, apologized that I was not happy with their mattress.
