Owned for THREE years, GREAT MATTRESSI purchased the 8 inch full size mattress in the fall of 2019, and could not be more pleased with this purchase. Genuinely one of the best deals I’ve gotten on Amazon. I’ve had 5 separate family members sleep on this bed, all 5 rave about the comfort. I have zero complaints. The top layer does keep the mattress cool as advertised, and we tend to sleep in a warmer home in the middle of Arizona summers. Between adults and kids using it, the mattress has not lost a bit of its comfort. We had no problems with it expanding properly. No residual odor. I travel extensively and this mattress easily is as comfortable as a higher quality hotel memory foam bed, but at a fantastic price point. I’ve recommended this mattress to multiple friends without hesitation. Writing this review now because I returned to the listing to purchase a second one for another bed, and realized I hadn’t yet reviewed the initial purchase. Happy repeat customer

Comfortable but smelly -update-I have two different king sized sheets to fully wrap this mattress to keep the smell down. NO , it never goes away. Ive had it for 2 years now. Update. 3 years . Still , the smell of this is SO STRONG. Like , its not even gone down a little bit since the day I bought it. That is with the wrapped sheets. I needed to use plastic wrap or something. I wont be taking this with me when I move and I wont be buying another one. However, giant foam style does have its advantages. I will say that it hasnt lost any form or function after all this time and I know springs would have been permanently worn and sagging by now. I sit in the same spot on this bed all day so it will sag after a while. Rotate it around and its good to go for another week. It will sag a little but I mean ive had fully supported and cushy rest for 3 years straight with no signs of this material weakening. It smells like textile chemicals though but if you solve that, or at least dampen it , it should serve you well. I weight 140lbs. This is also important. You dont want to get the thickness I got and weigh more than 150. At 140 im fully supported but after hours , when its fully settled, im supported but I can feel that I have no more room left for compression. Certain positions of sitting will hurt your back if your not sitting with your back against something. This is one property that spring mattresses beat it on. The support while sitting indian style with no back rest is terrible. Basically its not really stiff enough. In my opinion , whatever the stiffest you can get , get it. It will still be soft and cushy because its foam but you wont sink as much and that will save your back. Its pretty great for sleeping flat though. In that respect it feels better than spring mattresses that were good. My grandmothers bed was the most comfy ever but it wore out too. This foam doesnt really wear out but its never going to be quite as stiff as a spring set could be even on the thickest version. I have a queen it says but its closer to a Full+ . For my size I dont think two people would fit under every circumstance comfortably. Sure two people can fit but rolling in the night and the extra room for all that wont be there. You also cant rely on stock frames. Because it has no springs you need a lot of wooden planks on your frame to keep from sagging down in a spot that isnt supported(you will drop). I had to buy 6×8 wooden boards to lay on the metal frame and it took freakin 7 of em. I really should have gotten 9. No, not a single flat piece of sub floor. Trust me. Planks. Dont spill anything on it because its a giant sponge. I always sit on it with plenty of blankets and sheets underneath. Im grateful for it even though the smell sucks. If im honest, if you dont cover it or wrap it, you wont be able to bear it.Pros – Living alone, you just sleep on a different side each night or even switch sides in the middle of the night for good support and comfort all night. It doesnt wear down like a spring mattress does and with the use of support pillows, you can get all the comfort you really need out of a single person. 10 inch is the minimum thickness in my opinion. Its lighter than most and can be easily moved around the room on its base. The queen I got gives my 5 10 inch body plenty of room all around. I can sprawl out any which way I want.Cons – The smell is always strong unless you wrap it up. I even tried plastic wrap at one point but switched to 2 king sized sheets. If you keep it wrapped it will cut the smell down by 70 percent.Dont spill anything on it but water. Its a giant sponge. To clean a spill, you will need to equally soak it again and then sponge it up somehow. Avoid all spills on foam matts. It does form to your body after a while and it can lead to higher body temps. Choose bed sheets that are light and comforters that let your body breathe more than the thicker fluffier others. Avoid large pillows for your head as the body will sink a little into the foam. Avoid really firm pillows for the same reason. It can be a little tricky to find the right balance of heat of comfort but I enjoy this mattress anyway. Its a bit of a pain, but its been better value for something equal in springs. A queen mattress with springs with the support I want would be much more than this cost me.

Good for the valueNot quite 10 inches BUT fhe best matress for the value. It has diminished my back pain to nearly none. Its so comfortable. I will buy again. It also arrived a day earlier than I expected.

Super ComfortableI always worry when I read other reviews….excellent if hate it. I’m just an average Joe who makes average Joe money and I love this mattress. Not to sift, not to hard, just right!!!

Just as good as a tempur-pedicDuring Hurricane Ian our Tempur-pedics were destroyed and we couldn’t afford to pay thousands to replace. This mattress filled the bill…pressure relief..no movement felt by other person and cool sleep.

Firm. Very firm.So I bought this about three years ago and it’s been used every night. We rotate it as it suggests. I’m 5’7” 155 lbs not pregnant and my husband is 5’6” 180 so we aren’t extremely large but we also aren’t small people. This bed makes my back and joint pain so much worse. For the value yes it’s great. But be aware it is firm. Finally getting ourselves a new mattress after three years because my back has gotten so bad and I also am a side sleeper. This bed is definitely more for someone who sleeps on their back. My husband likes it but only if he’s on his back to sleep.Definitely wouldn’t be bad for a guest room but I think it wears down over time.

Great purchaseBought the king 14in. Great bed if you have back problems. Had to get used to the firmness as my previous was very “plush”. Bought a mattress topper and is much better. My husband doesn’t complain of his back pain anymore. Definitely recommend!

Wife loves itMy wife loves this mattress but I find it a little firm, which is odd as it is just the opposite of our other mattress. My wife is much lighter than me, so I’m not sure why the firmness seem so different. I sleep fine either way, but my wife wakes more refreshed after 2 back surgeries with this mattress. We have been sleeping on both mattresses as we are selling our house and have the new unit in our new home, so we’ve had several comparison sleeps.
