A very nice computer deskMy husband loves his new computer desk. Let me say this. It is heavy with a lot of pieces. We worked on it three different days. Rule #1 If it doesn’t fit right, the piece is being put in wrong. Rule 2, don’t rush it and take your time. Everything fit perfectly, and we had all the screws, nails, etc that were needed. We felt like we had accomplished a big job, and the desk is well built, sturdy, and has room for a cat bed!! We couldn’t be happier with the result. We have gotten Sauder items for years and are always happy with the quality.

Nice Looking ProductI agree with most of the other comments concerning the weight and looks of the finished product. My first regret is that I did not try to locate steel/metal cams to replace the cheap plastic cams included with the unit. My second regret is that I did not follow my intuition and use a good quality wood glue to further strengthen the unit. Even when turning the unit over to attach the back cover, it started to wabble. When I checked the plastic cams, they were as tight as I could get them. I’ve purchased this type of furniture in the past, but they always came with the metal/steel cams and provided excellent stability. I strongly recommend Sauer spent a few extra cents and return to providing good quality metal/steel cams for future shipments. Since most of the plastic cams that came with the unit are readily accessible after completing the built, I wonder if it’s possible to replace them with good quality steel/metal cams.

Good quality. Takes awhile to assemble.Quality fit and finish were excellent. Not Quaker quality of course but pretty good for an buy and assemble design desk. Instructions were good, but 30 pages long. Took a good half day or more to get together by myself. The instructions even joke about 3/4 of the way through encouraging you to keep going the end is in sight!

Love this desk!We’ve had this desk for about 2 years now and it has held up really well. We are currently moving and didn’t think we had room for it witb the hutch but am so relieved the hutch is able to come off so the desk can come with us, yay!

Took 9 hours to assemble, good value.Took way too long to assemble, nice product and good value. Update: if you plan on moving this unit to a different location, I wish you all the best. The attachments/assembly hardware will snap instantly with just a little bit of pressure, given that this unit weighs at least a couple hundred pounds. After having this desk for only two months and trying to move it up the ramp of a U-Haul truck, I ended up taking a hammer to it and throwing it in the trash. Basically it’s particleboard, very cheap materials and assembly parts. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for! Enjoy

Nice Desk, Needs 2 people to put togetherGreat desk. This is the 4th Sauder furniture I’ve purchased. However, you absolutely need 2 people to put this together. The directions are pretty good but it took the two of us several hours. Some pieces we had to figure out ourselves but it wasn’t difficult. All the hardware came clearly marked. It is one heavy desk, too! I love the desk.

Great productGreat describes only issue I had was prob from delivery cause package was boxed real good there were 1 dent and I scratch dent was on the bottom so I am not worried my 14 year old helped put together.Please check with delivery service cause not shippers problem as delivering company issue

Very Nice!Very nice desk. Took me and the wife two days to assemble. All the parts look good, except a spot on of course, the main work space has some type of rubbing that made a smudge. Happy with purchase!
