Hide modern electronics in a midcentury homeDefinitely a great value. The pieces are sturdy and clearly labeled. There are prescored holes for adding wired devices, but it wouldn’t be noticeable if you didn’t need to use it. I do wish there were pre marked holes in the back for securing it to the main framework. We did accidentally nail through some open spaces because the backing is so sturdy, it is hard to feel where the frame is. That being said, you can take your time and avoid a similar mistake. And even if you do barely miss your mark, you can strategically hide it behind a cleverly placed book or decor item. We also struggled to get the sliding doors on right, but all components on a track take some degree of attention. Though new and affordable, this bookcase fits in very well with our authentic mid century pieces and I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a piece to hide modern electronic devices without drilling holes into an authentic mid century piece.

its okso I got this for myself and it got here really fast. my husband and I opened the box and some of the wooden parts were kind of chipping and kind of broken but not to an extreme, it was doable. I was expecting the wood to be less damaged but who’s going to look at it too close? but so far we like it.

Great purchaseI am so glad I made this purchase. I needed a bookcase that has some out of sight storage but didn’t take up too much room. This color appeared to come close to matching the floating shelves I have in my office and it did! The finish is really pretty and can fit a lot! I’m getting some baskets for inside so I can organize my stuff a little better too. Overall, I’m really happy.

Great addition for our office space.Looks great. Love the MCM look.Take your time and have the space to assemble. Some of the screw holes splintered when putting in the screws but not noticeable after.Just make sure the back is perfectly centered and not shifted when you start to nail it on, it’s a massive hassle to try and take off the nails and correct it.

Great value for the moneyFor the money these are great. I bought three. They are a little shorter then I thought they would be but they did have the measurements listed so that’s on me. They were fairly easy to assemble. We made a few mistakes but in the end they came together.

Good product, pain to assembleAbsolute pain to assemble – took 2.5 hours to put together. However, once assembled, this is a very nice, sturdy, attractive piece of furniture.

Beautiful & sturdy – what’s not to love!This bookcase is beautiful! Took me about 90min to assemble this by myself. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It’s surprisingly sturdy and you’d never know this wasn’t solid wood. The walnut finish is gorgeous! It’s the perfect size to story all my jewelry-making supplies. I’m extremely happy with it!

Love the styleGreat looking piece, I also bought a matching end table and have put the two items in a mid century modern decorated room. Both are functional and meet my needs for storing books and displaying sentimental objects. Takes 4+ hours to assemble but that seems to be the norm for larger products.
