4 months later and I still love itI was on the fence about buying furniture online but I’ve been very happy with this credenza. It arrived in two, quite heavy flat boxes. I was able to assemble the whole thing by myself but I can imagine it would have been easier with two people. The assembly instructions were not as clear as IKEA furniture, but I took my time, made sure to read everything as I went, and didn’t have any issues that weren’t solved by checking the instructions again.Overall the unit looks very sleek and unless you get close, looks like real wood. You can adjust the height of the drawers to get the look you want from them. I set them to be flush with the shelving above them and it looks great. The drawers are spacious and have enough room for your standard size dvd cases, gaming equipment and long boxed board games.

Decent BuyOverall it was easy to assemble. It took two of us to decipher the instructions at times but we did it in a couple of hours without having to take it apart to make corrections. Sturdiness – we put it together in one room for space, and then moved it another for its final placement which I think slightly messed up the alignment in a couple of places. I’m not sure how it will hold up if I ever have to move it again. I wish I had glued the pieces in place to increase its sturdiness. Also, the edges all around it have a white line going around it that looks like didnt get painted or something. I didn’t take a photo of it myself, but you can see it in some of the photos others have posted. I didn’t notice it in these photos before, but it stands out and makes it look like it was put together. It was an easy fix to color it in with a wood stain pen and that made a big difference. It’s a great style and looks and does what I need it to do.

Looks stunning holding up a 75″ TVStyle is always subjective but it fits in well with my decor. Overall, the construction is pretty good and strong enough to support a 75″ TV that weighs over 80 pounds without showing any signs of flex or bowing. Assembly is a little tedious and took several hours to put together working at a casual pace. The alignment of the drawer fascia pieces isn’t perfect but only a critical eye and close examination will notice the flaws. For me, the instructions weren’t exceptionally detailed but clear enough to get the job done without having to redo any steps. The credenza kit shipped in two flat boxes and was packed sufficiently that kept all the pieces safe during shipping.

Sturdy but very difficult to assembleTable is sturdy and looks very nice. Quality of material(particle board sandwiched b/w good thickness of plywood) is very good compared to other products in this range. The only problems are 1) there are too many parts 2) everything is heavy 3) require power screw driver in my opinion

Misaligned and damaged partsIt took me 4.5hrs to put together and the middle long piece was misaligned with the fastener holes for the side pieces and tried in so many ways to see if I had it wrong but they did. I just ended up leaving those fasteners out. After finishing the main body one of the sides is slightly off so the left drawer gets stuck. Some of the drawer pieces are damaged. All in all I decided to just keep it because the thought of disassembling it and putting it back in the boxes and returning it is unbearable. Besides this is the style I really wanted because the designer one is five times the price so I guess you get what you pay for.

Thicker veneer maybe?You know, for the money, it’s hard to beat. It’s large and stylish, has 3 big drawers, and holds gigantic TVs. This is why I just bought it again after having to give up the first one I had years ago because of a move. Other TV stands at the price sacrifice something…and I guess this is no exception. The downside? The veneer is paper-thin and the particle board is more particle, less board….and somehow it still has the nerve of being almost 100lbs. Assemble with care, put your TV on then don’t touch it until it’s time to throw it away.

Love it. My only complaint is with Amazon delivery damaging it.Credenza was delivered damaged. I’m really disappointed with Amazon delivery. With that being said the damaged areas luckily were not visible once the credenza was built. Credenza took a few hours to build but it was easy. I did it by myself. The end result is very nice. I’m happy with my purchase just wish Amazon delivery was more careful.

Excellent for the price, with a couple recommendationsI’m very happy with this piece. It looks good, just like the photos. The open bays are high enough and long enough for big audio equipment items. This is actually the big feature for me; I have a Sony 300 CD changer that wouldn’t fit in any similar entertainment center I found. It’s a major engineering project to assemble, but a satisfying one. Each screw has a mating pilot hole so the assembly is precise. The instructions are excellent, and all the pieces and fasteners are clearly labelled so there’s no confusion. Assembly is a 5 or 6 hour project, and the finished piece weighs a ton- about 150 lbs.The only reason I give the piece 4 stars instead of five is that the manufacturer neglected to include any kind of floor protection like felt pads or plastic bumpers. As built this would have meant heavy unfinished particle board edges against my walnut floor, and guaranteed scratches. Fortunately I had these on hand!Also I’d recommend omitting assembly of the metal drawer handles. They are unsightly, and make the drawer fronts stand away from the pieces that they mate up to. The manufacturer should do a more attractive finger hold on the bottom of the drawer fronts rather than the ugly handles on top with the rubber bumpers that make the drawers fronts stand away from the front of the credenza.Oh, and one more thing. I received two parts with manufacturing defects and one broken part. Went online and ordered replacements easily at sauder.com, with no proof of purchase required, and it was shipped the next business day. Well done Sauder! Five stars plus for the website and ordering experience!
