Don’t Be Mislead…Don’t be mislead by the cabinet Depth/Width. The measurements says the width (front to back) of the cabinet is 13.23 inches when it’s only 11.25.

Sauder is high qualityMy husband had no trouble assembling this. It is well made and beautiful and fits in perfectly with the rest of our sauder flatpack furniture. Our whole living room set is by sauder and I suspect it will last for years. Not flimsy, and goes together without issue if you follow the instructions.

One of my best purchasesThe packaging is amazing. Nothing arrived damaged, and you can tell how much care and effort went into ensuring that all arrived safely. The instructions are very simple and direct, plus I love the extra writings in between, they were funny! (Like the assembly is almost done, time for a nap) I’ve been assembling multiple things for days now to reorganize my place, and the little notes were awesome and a break from typical instructions. The sturdiness itself is great, the quality is also so worth it. I have a bookshelf from Target that was almost $200, and in comparison, this one is WAY BETTER. I’d definitely recommend this bookshelf to anybody that I know!!!!! I love it!!!! Price wise, it’s worth the bucks!!

Looks cheapVery disappointed. It is not cheap but the quality is really bad. The doors are not closing straight, you can see one is closing deeper than the other one. You can see white glue on the seams. Doesn’t look neat at all. Very disappointed . Hard to assemble. Planned to put in in the leaving room but have to put in the dark corner so that nobody could see it.

When one door closes and another one…strugglesSooo….it is a good looking shelf. It is pretty sturdy for the price and didn’t seem to mind the weight of books and a whole lot of sheet music (in the cupboard). The color is great. The cupboard doors is where we had an issue- one of the doors went on perfectly and opens and closes without any difficulty. The other door though….it catches and doesn’t close at all without some help. We thought it might be because we put it on the wrong side….nope. Same problem. We tried loosening the hinge. Same problem. It still closes if you lift it and give it some help. Overall, I’m glad I bought it and it looks really good next to the other Sauder bookshelf.

Not really worth the priceThe bookshelf looks as advertised and works well as a shelf, but the assembly was difficult. The instructions were straight forward but pieces don’t quite fit together. The shelf is wobbly due to the wood on the bottom not being cut evenly and there was more that one occasion where things that should fit together fine I either had to hammer brutaly or add glue so it would stay together at all. So yes the shelf works and it holds my stuff but I would say it is not work the 250+ I paid for

BEFORE buying you have to know this!It looks very nice but looking at it in detail it has several defects and many peeling, the back looks like cardboard, the doors do not line up well, and it took me 2 hours to put it together by myself..se ve muy bonito pero viendolo a detalle tiene varios defectos y muchas descarapeladas, la parte de atras parece carton , las puertas no alinean bien, y yo tarde 2 horas en armarlo sola …
