What a hassle…The screw holes in the metal pieces aren’t threaded. The instructions will have you trying to screw brackets into such tight corners that it’s nearly impossible to fit both your screwdriver and your fingers. The boards were chipped and scuffed in places.I had previously bought the matching bookshelf despite all the reviews saying assembly was a pain. I followed the instructions closely and didn’t have a problem at all. This credenza, however, was a totally different story.

You get what you pay forLooks super nice and it suits my need. I have a 65in TV on it for now and it fits it well enough until I can mount it. However, packaging was terrible and there were some dented corners and edges on arrival. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of sending it back and waiting so I just accepted that that’s the price for Amazon furniture. There were also some holes missing for some of the screws in the metal pieces. Luckily, they didn’t affect structural support so I was able to continue without them.Overall, I like it but I don’t know that I would buy from this brand again considering the condition I received it in. I feel like it’s a step above ikea furniture but not by much and the directions to put it together are just as annoying. A bit disappointing as I have another table from them that was perfect.

Be patient and pay attention; it goes together quite nicely, but you gotta pay attention.Lay everything out before you build it, and if you do mess it up, you can take it apart and fix it.

Nearly Impossible to put togetherWe had previously purchased the Sauder matching coffee table and it was super easy to put together so when we ordered this Credenza, we assumed the same. NOPE. You most definitely need a power drill. None of the holes are pre-threaded so any parts that are metal take a lot of work. We called to ask for advise and they said to screw in each hole ahead of actually attaching it. After about a total of 6 hours working on this thing, we got it put together and it looks great. Boyfriend’s sanity over this timeframe… not so great. Its done now but we were planning on getting another piece and now rethinking that.
