Easy to assembleThe reason I chose to go purchase the Triflex Drawing table was because I saw that it was able to be used while sitting down and standing up. As an art student that feature was something I was really looking for because I like to stand and draw. I also really liked the modern design black features with a clear glass stop. It didn’t take long to get in the mail at all. Within 5-7 days I had gotten it and was really pleased with the sender’s customer service. While setting it up I didn’t run into any major difficulties. Everything was pretty easy and I just followed a long with the diagrams. The only thing that I got a little confused on was trying to figure out what leg was the left leg vs. the right leg because there was a slight difference between them. After I figured it out I easily put together the desk and I was able to test it out. This desk is super easy to not only put together by myself but also move by myself. My favorite feature is how the desk top can move from a flat surface to an angled top so that it is more like a drafting table. The versatility of this desk is exactly what I was looking for in a desk in which I wanted to do regular homework and also art projects on. I am super excited to work on this desk once school comes around. This desk is also extremely durable compared to my last one and that was the second factor I was looking at when I went to studio designs catalog. All in all I am very pleased with this product and the setup of it. It exceeded my expectations and I will for sure buy products from them again and recommend this product to others.

Great desk/Need for Hands to BuildThis desk is standard height and for me that means a bit on the tall side. It is beautiful and was easy to put together. Putting it together took about an hour with my 11 year old doing most the work while I held the pieces. It really needs 4 hands to put it together. I went ahead and bought the light box rails. They were 7-8 bucks. Make sure you put them one before installing the glass. Also the glass smudges easy on the bottom side. Make sure you don’t touch the glass where the rails are because you can’t clean under the metal rails. I had to take the glass back off to get rid of prints. Because I’m short I want to make a shelf under for my feet. The metal bar in the middle comes down pretty low. So if I wanted more storage under It would be hard to accomplish. Overall I love my new desk. There is plenty of room for my 24 inch monitor as well as my 17.3 inch laptop on a stand. I would think 2 24inch monitors would sit comfortably on it as well. The 10049 light box bars fit this model fine. Even though there are no drawers, the side trays seem to hold everything I need on hand for a normal day of online schooling.

Easy to assemble, strong and sturdy.Great table but the table top does not open fully enough to disengage item #11 the Lift Mechanism so you have to reach behind the table to flick the mechanism manually before lowering the top. It appears it is the lift mechanism itself that blocks the top for opening further. I’ve reviewed the installation instructions but it all appears installed correctly.
Amazing table/deskI bought this for my wife 2 years ago and it’s still holding up great. She uses it as a desk for her school work as well as for drawing and painting. The glass has held up to everything she has put on it. You can maybe see a few minor scratches, but you would have to be looking at the right angle to see them. The side attachments actually stay in place and hold all of her sketch pencils, paint brushes, etc. She has extended it up all the way to test it out a few time and it’s very stable. She prefers sitting though so usually keeps it flat or tilts it up a bit. I would highty recommend this for anyone that needs a good, solid surface to work at.
Easy to assemble, good for the priceThe good:The table was very easy to assemble. We let our 12 year old do it herself while we only helped when two people were required like putting on the glass top. Its worth mentioning our 12 yr. old is good at assembling and following directions – years of Legos paid off.The desk was also reasonably priced when we purchased it.The not so good:It’s not so stable when the table top is set to an angle. This was our main use case and it was simply too jiggly for her when trying to use it for detailed sketching. Unfortunately, we’ll be looking for something a bit more stable. If you are primarily using it as a flat table or less concerned about stability for precise drawings, its probably fine and definately for the price.
Great buy on a great product. This product assembled easily, adjusts through its stations smoothly, and is very sturdy. I love it!!!

Sit to stand if you are under 5’5”The desk is nice enough but at 5’7” I would not really call it sit to stand. In the fully raised position and putting my work at the top of the desk, it is still not at a high enough level. Additionally there is not a lip on the bottom to hold your paper in place. You will need a clamp or hold your paper with one hand. As a sitting desk it runs a little high. My current chair does not have enough height to make this work. Not a big deal since I was already planning on replacing the chair. My last point is on the assembly directions. As a family we have assembled many an IKEA piece and have experience with less than clear directions. This desk made IKEA directions look like the gold standard. Once you figure step 1 and 2 out it gets easier but not good. On the upside all the parts were received, holes for the screws were in the right place and it is sturdy when complete.
Versatile, sturdy and easy to cleanBought 2 of them and turned garage into an art studio for my kids. These desks are a great value for your money. We simply love them. Super sturdy. Versatile as you can position the top on different levels and by having a glass top is super easy to clean any mess with paint.I only had an issue with delivery since when ordered them originally one was delivered somewhere else and had to request another one. With Covid has been difficult to clarify this situation with amazon and they are trying to charge me for the one I never got. Hope this can be clarify as soon as they reopen Client Service.
Great desk. Quality construction and versatileThe desk was easy to assemble. The parts are well made. I really enjoy the ability to switch between stand up and sit down desk
