A good standing deskI spent awhile considering all similar priced standing desks on Amazon, both electronic and crank. I decided on this one mainly for the raised portion. That made it stand out for me and meets my needs. It holds two big monitors and doesn’t wobble or feel unstable. The lower portion is great too and overall it’s spacious for me. Cranking isn’t so bad, just takes a minute really. I preferred crank because I feared that electronic could eventually break and render it useless. Obviously it’s not a solid, real wood piece, but I like the finish more than other types of manufactured wood furniture I’ve owned. Setup was easy too and required two people. Overall I’m happy w this!

Compact, with nice finishWood and steal construction with a nice finish, however the wood is a little soft. I already have a deal scratch on it.

Great for the price! This crank sit stand desk is wonderful for the price! I’m still waiting on my work to decide if they are making us go back to the office so I wasn’t willing to spend too much on a motorized version just to have the motor poop out after a year, and this desk does the trick. While the instructions are awful, the assembly was pretty easy and I was able to put it together by myself. While it does take a little longer to move the desk up and down than a motorized version, it only takes about 30 seconds so it’s not a big deal to me. I appreciated that the crank handle slides under the desktop so it’s not always sticking out like other models. The only con is it came with a few marks and scratches on the wood tops. It looks like it’s due to the poor packaging and occurs when shipping. Considering the price, I’m not going to complain. In my case, I just turned the planks around to hide the marks which made the desk wider anyway.

Clever and nice looking adjustable deskI wish I could give this desk 4.5 stars, because although I love it and think it’s a bargain, I did have one issue with it, to which the company was very responsive. Also, the top is real wood, and the price was about half that of many of the others that I’d looked at, most of which had rather cheap tops. The issue I had was that, while the desk top looks perfectly beautiful, it has a couple of rougher feeling spots. No, you can’t see them, and no, you won’t get splinters or anything like that — and I can certainly live with the flaws — but it’s not equally smooth all over. The assembly was pretty easy, but as with most instructions, they can always be clearer. They say you need at least two people, and I’m sure that would have been even easier, but I was able to finagle it by myself, by using the crank to lower both legs to their lowest positions and then lining them up or measuring them to make sure they were even. Then I skipped the first step, and instead did the first part of the second step, and then came back to the first step before completing step two. I hope this makes sense. And, finally, it’s helpful to know that the crank pulls in and out, which I didn’t realize and almost thought that I’d installed it wrong until I read another reviewer’s post. I am happy with my purchase and do recommend the desk. The one I bought is the lighter color with the white metal legs, but the photos I’ve seen of the teak version with black legs looks nice, too.

Great sit/stand desk!I was looking for a sit/stand desk for my home office. I was looking at both crank and electric styles and ultimately went with the crank style because it was cheaper and I figured it would last longer than the electric style. The crank is really easy to use. Takes about 30 seconds to go from all the way down to all the way up. I really like the second tier of the desk. Currently I have a 24” and 27” monitor along with my laptop on it. It would easily fit two 27” monitors. I do with it came with a drawer, but it seems like a lot of these sit/stand desks don’t have drawers. I bought a stick on drawer that easily solves my problem though so it wasn’t a big deal.Overall this is a great desk and I am really happy with the purchase (I was also able to snag it when it was on sale!)

Very great desk, solid customer serviceThe top is what seems to be laminated wood, but it’s solid. The top and the frame are both pretty sturdy, no wobble at all. You even have the ability to choose which side to put the crank on if you’re not right-handed. It says 2 people required to assemble it, but it can easily be assembled with one person. It feels like good craftsmanship for something that came from China (all the holes line up, which seems to be a major issue with products made in China that require assembly). When I first received this, I thought it was missing bolts so I used bolts from Lowe’s. If you do not receive any bolts with yours, you can use M6-1.00×10 Metric Pan Phillips Machine screws from Lowe’s (Item #755514). 4 packs of 6 bolts cost me $8.34 after tax.I was contacted by customer service within 1 day offering to replace the missing bolts. I eventually found the bolts that I thought were missing.

Great quality desk! This desk has been an amazing asset to my work-at-home lifestyle. I love that I can crank it up and down depending on my needs for standing or sitting. The quality is beautiful. Set up was a bit difficult because I did it alone and some pieces are heavy and tipped over. But I was able to build it solo (5’4 lady of steel, or laziness, either way, I got it done). I ended up getting an elbow rest extension which helps for using my laptop on the first tier. I have a lamp on the second among other doodads and there’s even room for a cardboard cat scratch box for my cat to sit next to me while I’m working. (This was my brilliant idea -if I may say so because I’m saying so- after she tried stepping all over my computer all the time. It works!)I appreciate the crank and while I haven’t used an automated one, I like that this won’t shut off or get wonky from electrical needs. The crank can be on either side and it works well. Tools were included in the hardware and after a couple of months of using it, it’s still working well. Sturdy and beautiful! Worth the buy.

Amazing crank standing desk!I work from home and recently decided to buy a new desk after using a child’s desk the last two years. I was extremely picky in my search. I wanted something that didn’t have two pieces for the top which is harder to find than people think on Amazon. I also wanted something I could stand at and that I could adjust while sticking to my budget. This desk is everything I was looking for. The crank on this desk is one of the things that appealed to me. It does take a minute or so to adjust the desk to the height you want but for me it’s worth it. I wanted a manual crank and did not want the hassle of anything electric on a desk. I like simplicity. The desk is VERY heavy so make sure you have someone help you lift it into the house when it is delivered. I had to drag the box because it was so heavy. As for putting it together, I did not put it together but my husband did. He said it was very easy to put together. It took him less than an hour to put together the entire desk. I definitely recommend this desk to anyone looking for one.

Love this desk! This was so easy to put together. I did it by myself. There weren’t a whole lot of parts and all of the screws fit where they were supposed to. It is a nice looking desk and the way the legs are attached it made it easy to use it from my couch. It just slid forward and the legs went under the couch. The hand crank is easy to use as well. Perfect!
