Not for the Wide-HippedPlease check the measurements. I am keeping this although it is not as wide as the one I’m replacing. It is comfortable enough because I am not a large person. A big man would not want it. a wide-hipped woman would not want it. I love the fabric. Sorry the color I wanted is out of stock, but the grey is acceptable. I shouldn’t comment on the assembly because I ordered the setup. It LOOKED easy to assemble.

Great reclinerThis chair is wonderful. The reviews on it had me worried but I bought a cobblestone grey Darcy couch and I wanted a recliner to match it. I’m 5’10, bigger girl and this chair supports my legs, reclined or not, and my head sits right back on the cushion and it’s wide enough too. I guess maybe someone with a huge butt may have trouble but I don’t have any issues. So firm and supportive and a great price too

Love! Great little reclinerWe love this recliner it’s perfect for the space! We needed a compact recliner and that’s exactly what what else got with our purchase. We are smaller people so it works perfect for us; my husband only 5’8 and loves it, very comfy! We have the matching couch and it looks and feels great!

Arm cushionThe chair is comfortable. However the arm cushion has never stayed on top of the arm. You can lift it into place but it never stays. And after using the chair for 7 months it has developed a noise when rocking. Would not purchase again only because of the arms.

The seat. It’s early, but I think I like it enough. The back and armrests are comfortable. The seat seems ok, reclines easily and goes back almost completely horizontal. I like too that you can control how much the leg rest lifts. The chair rocks nicely. The length of the back is good, the head can rest at the top. My feet though, won’t reach the floor with chair unreclined, and I’m 5ft 9. But, that’s not bothering me. One thing to take heed to is this: for folks 200 lbs plus, the chair might be a very tight uncomfortable fit. The seating area between the armrests is not wide.

Too Many Cons Make For DisappointmentA wonderful looking, super comfortable recliner that ends up falling short. Chair is too tight for a big person, but if you are short, your feet will not touch the ground as it rocks back when you sit in it. Not a problem if you could lock the rocker, but oops, can’t do that. Foot rest has two stops, but lower level is not very tight and it will eventually lift to the higher level. Oh, and you will need thighs like Mary Lou Retton to get the footrest to retract. Don’t dare try to do it with the handle or it will break. The reclining back has no stops and is not tight enough to support you in anything but the fully reclined position where you are literally laying down. Great for sleeping, but unless your tv is on the ceiling…To top it off VirVentures sent me Sage instead of Cobblestone to match my couch. I attempted to return, but 4 weeks of robo email responses, none with the same name, being directly lied to ,a request to delete my “negative feedback” before resolving the issue, and being asked to return it thru fed ex, after which they would “consider your refund.” I had enough. I’m just going to keep it, but unlike Archie Bunker’s this chair is reserved for guests. If you are looking for a recliner, keep looking. This chair is not worth $300.

You get what you pay forThis is not a lazboy. So keep that in mind. For the money, it’s a nice recliner and will do the job I need it for. But I expect it to wear out much quicker than the three lazboy recliners we currently own. Pros: The material is nice. The chair is comfortable. It was easy to assemble. Cons: The back does not adjust, so you’re either reclined with the footrest up, or you’re rocking with the footrest down. Nothing in between. It’s small, seat wise. I have to lift the material on the arms to sit in it. It has a very strong odor. It’s taken a good four days for it to subside. It’s difficult to get the footrest down from a reclined position because you have to use your body weight to force it down. Overall it’s a decent recliner. But if overlooking for something that will last for years, look elsewhere.

All the way up or all the way down.Disappointed there is no middle position for watching TV. Seat is narrow. I have a 34 in. waist and I just fit. Otherwise comfortable and built well.

Very narrow seat space, pretty colorSuper easy to assemble. Very narrow seating space, so beware. It rocks with no sound. Easy for me to reach the handle for the leg rest. I am approx 130 lbs, it’s ok for me or my kids to sit in. It is not comfortable for anyone bigger or taller. I like the color.
