Looks better than advertised. The chair is absolutely beautiful, modern and looks exactly as advertised. The light gray is elegant. Very easy to assemble, took less than 15 minutes. Will definitely purchase again. Kudos to Ashley Furniture!

Nice chairThe Ashley Hansridge chair is a well made chair, with ample amount of weight to it. I ordered two and one was a little more comfortable out of the box than the other, but am hopeful the one will soften over time. If a smaller scale chair is needed, this fits the bill. It is an accent chair so it is not meant to be sat in for hours. But I have sat in mine reading for an hour or so and was perfectly comfortable. I do use a lumbar pillow for a little more support. I found no issue with the upholstery – everything was sewn perfectly. The color (blue) is a bit darker than appears. Assembly was easy, just slide the back in and attach the feet.

Really NiceI purchased two of these chairs for the office I work in. They came in earlier than expected, which was awesome. They are lighter than they appear in picture but they still look nice. IT does recommend two people but I easily put it together by myself. They are super comfortable and the material is soft as well. You definatly feel well supported. I can’t wait for them to come back in stock so I can order two more!

Need to carefully install backJust make sure the back slides into to bottom of the chair to get a tight fit. Works great. Minimal assembly!

It’s a great chair! We love this chair! It arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well. Directions were simple and easy to follow. The color is a light gray and will match a variety of decor. It is a solid, heavy chair and though we’ve only had it a little while- it seems very sturdy. Fits nicely in the small space I need it to! Would definitely recommend!

Well made modern chairVery well made chair for the price. The color is light and muted like the picture even though the color is described as rust.

Difficult to assembleI’m the only one who had a hard time with assembly. The very first step that people are referring two, “slide the back into the bottom”, was incredibly difficult for me. The tracks that are supposed to slide into each other are about 1 inch apart, and one must squeeze the sides of the back to make the tracks line up–pretty hard since you’re squeezing/bending wood. The first chair we were shipped my partner and I tried for > 30 minutes, and we’re two people who work out. We even tried using a ratchet strap to help with the squeezing. We could not make the tracks engage and believe they were defective (they kept engaging, then slipping off each other). We finally returned that one, and got a replacement. The replacement still had the tracks 1″ apart, but with the help of the ratchet straps and a lot of sweating, we were able to get them to engage after 15 minutes.I don’t think we are idiots, and we are moderately handy/fit people, so I can imagine a lot of other people might have problems.Minus one more star for some other small issues: On subsequent steps, two of the holes you need to screw together didn’t really line up and required more brute force to bring into line. The instructions were also slightly off; the kit arrived with two plastic washers but didn’t state where to put them. The instructions also appeared to include a step that had already been done (placing protective pads on the bottom of the feet).
