Mimi and Paw-Paw –
Wrong Color, not Brown!This is what we wanted but not the color we wanted. It says Brown but it’s not, It’s a Gun metal finish. As you can see in the photos also the wood is a lighter finish not the darker finish as you can also see in the photos. The smaller stool we got from the Ashley’s Store, The taller stool is from Amazon. Same build and brand just the wrong color and this is the 2nd set we got hoping the 1st set was just a mistake but unfortunately no. Amozon was great we just want the right color. The kids love them by the way.

Overall good quality.Love the look of these. We shopped for a year to find the right ones, found these and were SOO disappointed when they came in. Issues with the first shipment, stripped screws and other parts issues.We called and advised of problems, they immediately got the manf to call us. We explained and they told us parts would take several weeks to come. We shipped ours back, they shipped us a new set same day we called.The second shipment we were able to put together both in less than an hour. Had one little problem with a screw, was able to figure out a solution and they are great. Look great, feel very sturdy, not a plush seat, it’s a barstool, comfortable enough and perfect for the breakfast bar seating. Would order again.

Good quality for the price!First off…. If you’re looking for an island kitchen height that is what I got however , I’ve got them all the way up as high as they will go and they’re barely tall enough so , I would get the pub style and lower them. Was very easy to assemble very sturdy and strong however it’s not the most comfortable store so if you plan on sitting on it for a long time you’re better off getting a saddle stool that’s the one with the dip in the middleI got the smooth surface because I had read reviews that their natural was rough and possibly splinteringSmooth is perfect it’s not really wood it’s like a manufactured time material feels like wood. Looks like wood could partially be wood either way great for the price!

Don’t waste your time or money!I decided to wait before leaving a review and after owning these for a year, I can say that they are garbage. Putting them together was extremely difficult because holes didn’t line up and I can tell you that if you aren’t able to screw in every screw this stool will fall apart. The plate that you screw into the frame was bent and crooked. It won’t be able to support the weight overtime and I’m talking about 90 lbs or less children cause the seat to tip and move. I can put together anything so this was not due to user error. I purchased 4 of these and within 5 months, two weren’t usable unless you’re okay with the seat tipping backwards. The wooden seat has screws that are way too short to support weight overtime. I love the look of the chair but the manufacturer dropped the ball in many ways.Seats are adjustable which is a plus but after a couple of months, one stop adjusting and is stuck. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re only going to use occasionally. In my house, the kids use these stools daily. They are wobbly and the feet aren’t level also.

Great stools for the price!Perfect height for what we needed for our table. The stool seat can be made to be higher or lower for sitting. The only thing I didn’t like was each stool took 16 screws. There are two different sizes for the screws. You must put the right size screws where they belong in order for the stool to function properly. I confused this in the beginning of assembling them together. Directions are fairly easy. Would have gone faster and easier if I had a battery operated tool for assembly. Well worth the savings of what I would have spent in the store.

WABBLESI purchased four. A box contained two. I assembled the first pair about a month ago..legs weren’t even but I was able to adjust the legs as the bolts at each leg end was adjustable by about an inch (out or in). The second pair the leg discrepancy was too much that even the adjustments don’t help! I need to send those back!I bought the stools because Ashley Furniture had a backlog due to COVID. So, when I saw the stools online via Amazon and with immediate delivery, I phoned the local Ashley store to cancel the stools from the dinette set purchase. I had bought a king bedroom set, dinette set, sectional with end table/cabinets, and console cabinet. The dresser had to be set back as the drawers didn’t close properly. Come to find out, the dresser wasn’t made straight. The footboard is having same issue.

Solid, look greatThey are solid and look great. Big height range with adjustment. I’m giving it only 4 stars because I think they were designed by some seriously evil people. Whoever thinks these parts are “ interchangeable” is fooling themselves. You will need to use some serious muscle power to get all the screw holes to line up. I used a couple carpentry clamps to really hork on stuff to get it lined up. That and quite a few curse words got them together (don’t build at church or Christmas morning). The Alan wrenches that come with each stool are total crap. The softest steel money could buy. You will need both wrenches for each stool. And don’t plan on losing any of the screws or washers, you are given EXACTLY as many as will be needed.In the end, after building 8 of them I could turn one out in 20 minutes. Once together they look good, feel solid, work well.

Good quality but hard to put togetherTitle says it all. Husband took an hour to put these together and had a rough time lining things up. Advice is dont tighten anything down before its all assembled otherwise nothing will line up. Seats were lighter than they appear and slightly smaller than measurement.
