REAL WOOD – worth every centNeeded a cabinet to fit in a narrow place to hold my laundry supplies next to my stacked washer/dryer. It is even of better quality than expected – heavy, sturdy and good looking. My grandson put it together in a short time and removed the wine partitions, leaving only one shelf at the bottom to keep the washer/dryer manuals and to provide stability at the bottom. We saved the other shelf if it would be found to be needed later. This handsome piece of furniture would look good in any room of your house and could have multiple uses. It’s so hard to find REAL WOOD at reasonable prices. I’m more than satisfied.

Nice, versatile cabinet – we use for a device charging cabinetThis is a nice little cabinet. It’s perfect for what we needed, which was not a liquor cabinet at all. I like the color and quality, and my husband and daughter put it together pretty quickly. We opted to leave the wine rack out because we are using it for a device charging cabinet. I got tired of phones tablets, headphones, and laptops on the kitchen counter so now they live here. My husband cut a hole in the back for cords and added a lock so we could lock devices away from our kids when needed. Looks nice in the dining room and fits our needs well!

Overall, good quality and heavy!I just got this product and the first thing I wanted to do is write a review and post pictures. I cant believe no one has posted pictures of this product yet. I will go into detail below but, overall, I like the product and wont be returning. I would have loved it if it was easier to put together and if it didn’t come with imperfections but neither were deal breakers for me.COLOR: I think the site’s professional picture does it justice. I have a cappuccino colored dining room table and I was worried this color wouldn’t match. It is a rich tobacco color so its a little lighter than “cappuccino” but I am the only one that will every notice this. From a far distance, they look like they match.SHIPPING: Make sure you love this product before ordering because it is REALLY HEAVY. There is a lot I would forget about in terms of damages to not have to return this because its so heavy. I also live in Chicago and don’t have a car so that might be a reason as well. In terms of packaging, everything was well wrapped and the box it came in was very sturdy and quality.ASSEMBLY: I like assembling things and will stay that this assembly was a little challenging. Its not rocket science but it was a little more difficult than I anticipated. Either way, I thought the instructions did a pretty good job of explaining what to do. The holes for the shelves weren’t big enough so I had to hammer the pins in and then hammer the sides of the pin to open the holes. Also, it comes with a ton of extra parts which was pretty nice!QUALITY: Good quality for the price. I put glasses in there and the product doesn’t move or wobble at all. The product did arrive with some imperfections but I am just going to take a brown furniture marker to it and call it a day. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me.CONS: There arent holes for the shelves from top to bottom so you have less options of where to put the shelves. I wish there were pre-drilled holes from top to the middle to bottom (instead of 3 positions for pins on top and 3 positions for pins on the bottom and no pre-drilled holes in the middle).Hopefully this helped!

Almost Perfect – One Major Shelving IssueThe packaging, construction, and overall quality of the product is an A+ for a simply, solid pine, Wine Rack/Alcohol Cabinet. Simpli Home Avalon, does a great job making sure the product comes to you intact without damage and all the necessary parts and componants are available. Which, includes an extra’s pouch which I find uncommon in other furniture purchases of this style. I will note that the finish on the wood has a bit of a fresh shine to it. That may come off looking cheap or fake. However, this is mostely just a side effect of being a fresh finish that should fade with time as the wood is allowed to breath/age. Definatly not a negative just a slight heads up.Without droning on and on about the positives of this cabinet I want to mention the one major draw back that took this otherwise 5-Star product down to a 4-Star Product. That is the shelving of the unit. The shelf construction is top notch but the provided options for placement are lacking. I was unable to place the shelves to have 2 shelves for liquor bottles. In fact arranging it so I would have one shielf with standard size 750-mL liquor bottles was difficult to do. Which, maybe not everyone needs to have two shelves worth of whiskey, liquors, and ect. However, it would be nice to have the ability to do that.I will most likely at some point in the future go back and drill additional holes to accomidate the shelving arrangement I would prefer to have. For many people the arrangement may be sufficient however I found it lacking. It would have been remedied with just a few more peg holes provided in the design.If I rememeber to I will edit this review to include some images of the final set up.

Quality liquor cabinet at a very affordable price!Highly recommend this fine cabinet!It came securely packaged and the layers of foam wrapping and foam sheets protected it very well in the sturdy box. Not a scratch or blemish on any of the pieces. Comes with plenty of extra hardware (if needed).I read some of the reviews that said the assembly was difficult and took 3hrs. I found assembly to be somewhat easy, taking 90 mins. (mounting the door requires two people)Helpful tip: when assembling, be sure to screw in the cam lock screws totally straight to eliminate any alignment issues. The cabinet sits level and is very sturdy.It easily holds my 20 bottles of .750l bourbon, scotch and rum. Also holding the 12 bottles of wine at the bottom level. I’m also storing bourbon and wine glasses in it. If I choose to remove the glasses, I could store another 12 bottles. I chose this cabinet for its tall, slender design, giving me more options for storage in more confined spaces. This cabinet looks totally amazing sitting in my living room.There are more elegant, higher priced, liquor cabinets out there, but for the price, I would highly recommend the purchase of this fine cabinet!
