Solid wood and perfect fitPros: This is a nice solid wood piece. I was expecting some Particle board included but it was all solid. Very impressed. Also fits perfectly where we wanted it to go.Cons: mostly easy to install but sides took a little work. Includes like every thing but no glue for wood dowels. It also has no footing hardware and that would be handy for adjusting any wobbles as well as moving on the flooring.

Bravo! Even the “unpackaging” was a joy!All I’ve done so far is un-package this thing! What a pleasure – they make it so you can’t open the small end and instead open the long top. It’s like a beautifully wrapped gift! No Styrofoam mess when you’re done. The pieces all come out in an orderly fashion and all packing can be put back in the box for disposal so simply. If you had to return it (I can’t imagine why) it would be a breeze! I’ll purposely look at Simply Home before anyone else from now on just based on the ease of unpacking and clean up! You can’t even miss the bag of hardware because they used the red tape that sealed the box and taped the other end around the hardware inside! Seriously, it’s gorgeous and the color is perfectly brown. If the bench is as sturdy as they claim, this is going to be the BEST 320 bucks I’ve ever spent! Thank you! (Will update upon assembly and use – I 5 starred those because you can’t leave them blank)

Very SturdyThis is really a nice piece of furniture for the money. It is all solid wood and was pretty easy to put together, and is very sturdy. The packaging was excellent. No scratches or broken parts. If you do have a broken part or missing hardware they have included a telephone number to call on the first page of the instructions. It even comes with extra hardware. Instructions are well written. The hardware is all in separate little bags with numbers on the bags. All pieces of the wood are lettered with a sticker so that you know what part goes where and what screws to use to make it all come together. If you follow the instructions exactly as they are written, you will have no problem putting it together. I highly recommend this bench.
