Looks like the pictureLooks like the picture, color is the same. Very easy to assemble . Very sturdy!! Little disappointed with the backing a little flimsy but very happy with the quality! Got the large and small virgin for home office and looks great ! Good value for the money!

Pretty nice. Good value – EXCEPTI was really skeptical of this shelf. The price and claim of real wood seemed too good to be true. Honestly, I was kind of expecting a piece of sh**. I was pleasantly surprised. A good portion of it is real wood. The other parts are indistinguishable from the real wood and are not used in obvious places/places where real wood would be beneficial.Instructions are good. Way better than IKEA’s. Assembly was pretty easy – except 1 BIG thing, explained later. Took me less than an hour and I’m no pro. Two tips: 1. Don’t over tighten anything. You don’t have to over-torque any cam or bolts for it to be sturdy. 2. To make it a little stronger, use a little wood glue on the screws, joints,… BUT NOT on the cams.BIGGEST COMPLAINT – they put a big white and orange warning sticker on the inside, near the top. Really obvious placement. Who the heck wants to look at that?! It literally took a lot longer to get the sticker and adhesive off than it took to assemble the shelf! I peeled off the sticker inch by inch but the backing remained. Then I had to scrape that off inch by inch with my fingernail. Then you’re stuck dealing with the adhesive!! HINT #3 – do not use a chemical to remove the adhesive. It will mess up the varnish. Loop a piece of packing tape or duck tape (adhesive side out) and quickly stick it on and pull it off until the adhesive is gone.Too bad they put that dang sticker on there, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. Aside from that it’s a good value.

Fantastic BookcaseThis is a really beautiful bookcase and it’s perfect for picture books. I put it together in about an hour and didn’t have any trouble. I was afraid the long legs would make it easy to tip over, but it’s very solid. I still attached it to the wall with the included hardware, but I was glad it felt stable on its own. One of the back panels was damaged in shipping and has an inch-long gouge in it. But it doesn’t show at all, so I don’t mind.

Real hardwood, mid century on a budgetThis piece shipped flat packed with a ton of hardware and pieces. It was super heavy to move and carry around in the box. It came upstairs in pieces. It took about 2 hours assembly time. Ultimately I had two large bolts missing in shipping (even though it shipped extra hardware, they were the wrong size.) The manufacturer was apologetic and shipped the spare parts. At this cost, your are getting REAL SOLID HARDWOOD. No veneers. No particle board. This is rubberwood. The name is deceptive as this is an Asian hardwood the hardness equivalent of maple. I don’t find it scratches easily. The lacquer and stain are well done, although the piece emitted an odor for several days. I also had a small knick on a corner I colored in with some matching stain I had (it’s not even noticeable now.) If you love a bargain, if you love mid century furniture, but don’t want to spend a grand on a hardwood piece from West Elm, but this!

Solid wood, straight-forward assembly, but get your Goo Gone ready though, because the stickers do not come off smoothly!It’s pretty obnoxious the quantity and annoyance with taking these stickers off, especially since they don’t come off smoothly.

Great piece of furnitureThis is a great piece of furniture! Modern in style. Very substantial and it is solid wood. Some people may need a helper when putting this together because the piece weighs quite a bit, but then again, it is solid wood. It has a nice finish that appears to be resistant to most common household mishaps and does not scratch easily, but does clean-up with simple furniture polish and dust cloth. The only downside to this piece, but it still gets 5 stars, is the assembly. Just follow the instructions and get a beer periodically while using the hex wrench provided to put in all the screws. The locking cams are a cinch after you get the hang of them. A power screw driver makes quick work of the back panels.We got this piece to go in an entry way and provide a place for dropping off keys, packages, errands, mail, etc. It works great! Dimensions are 64 inches high, 22 inches wide, 14 inches deep.
