Looks exactly as pictured. Great ottoman/coffee tableWhat you see is exactly what you get. Seems well made. Came in oerfect condition. No assembly required. I would most definitely recommend this ottoman. With a decorative wood tray on top, it serves well as a coffee table. And, of course, the fact that you can pop the top to be a “TV tabke” is a real bonus!!

Handsome ottomanUpdate on 6-6-2019:The ottoman is still sturdy 🙂 It was used EVERY SINGLE DAY and now has little cat claw holes all over but it still looks nice and opens/closes fine, too. I listed the separate compartment as a con originally BUT IT IS SUCH A PRO. Video game and some electronic cleaning gear goes in the lift top side and blankets and 2 pillows in the other side. Organizing is easier with the dividend sections. It still closes with the same speed and still needs that extra push to get it all the way down, but that isn’t new. Still enjoy it and even though feet are on it frequently, the PU leather has held up well with no balding at all. For the price, I expect a few more years out of it and it looks like I will get at least two more. Still not wowed but I am now 90% satisfied with my purchase.Original review: Big ottoman. The height of the pull up part is perfect if you don’t have feet on your couch (like mine because it was too cumbersome to put them on). If you have some space between your sofa or chair and the floor, I believe this ottoman lift top would fall just short of perfect. It needs to be a little higher because it is also a lift top; putting on the feet of my sectional (which my partner WANTED to do) would now defeat the easy usability of the lift top. It would be just slightly too low for comfortable use.Pros:-Depending on the height of your seating, the lift top is perfect height for eating or using a laptop (I’m 5’1”, he’s 5’10”)-It is very sturdy-Handsome and perfect Espresso color that matched our sectional-Maximizes the size of the available storage-Cat likes it inside on on top-Lift top seems stable while up-No assembly required other than screwing in the feet, which is completely optional (they came in a bag inside the ottoman)Cons:-Only one pattern to choose from (I wanted a “buttoned in” look to match the sectional)-Not very soft, but I wasn’t expecting anything cuddly, just something that feels nice on my heels-The storage space is divided in half (this may be a pro point for many as you can separate electronics from linens, for instance)-Too expensive, although since you’re going to compare it to both a lift top coffee table AND a storage ottoman, the combined functionality may offset the price-When closed, the halves aren’t aligned symmetrically (this may be a defect on just my item but it is immediately noticeable)It eliminated my need for a lift top coffee table and extra storage and allowed my partner to put his feet up on it (feet on coffee tables drives me crazy) so this is a win-win. It didn’t “wow” me, though. The price and lack of pattern choice just makes this a 3-4 star product for me. It wasn’t “Wow, this is perfect, it was exactly what I was looking for!” It was “Oh, thank god the height is perfect!” Overall, I recommend it for anyone needing what I did (a place for his feet, storage, and a coffee table) and I am 85% satisfied with the purchase.

Couldn’t be happier 😄The only assembly required was to attach the four feet. It could not have been easier. The ottoman is perfect for the space we planned. Four people can use it as a footstool. It’s sturdy enough to hold a cup of coffee or glass without tipping over. The raised table section makes it a perfect height to do computer work or have a meal. I highly recommend this product.

Feels pretty cheapI think if this item was about half the price, I would be pleased but this item doesn’t really look like the picture. The material feels pretty cheap and the overall construction (hinges etc) was not great.

Really NiceI bought this to replace a hard coffee table, making a big difference. Storage is adequate for blankets, and the top folds out as a table. We placed a tray so we could place drinks on it. I am pleased with it, and many people ask where I got it from.
