Not Actual WoodIt looks great, easy assembly and fits our farmhouse motif. Purpose of 4 stars is that when you get close you can tell it’s just a contact paper lining on the desk and not actual torched wood. For the price, I can’t beat it and we’ll just tell people to admire the desk from afar.

Happy with itI bought two of these, first one was perfect but the second one came with one corner was dinged a bit. Super easy to put together though. I did them myself. Also I paid more for the second one, I wasn’t too thrilled about that but life goes on ……so all that said I love them because they are easy to wipe down and keep clean and they are gorgeous. Have had lots of compliments on them.

Wow! Easy! Looks great!This was so easy to put together. No misaligned holes, no missing hardware. It was a breeze. The surface is a little darker than I had hoped, more brown than gray, but it has both. I’m using this as a printer stand in my office and it will work great. Be aware this is not real wood, but a formica, which for me is perfect. Zips clean with a little windex.

Surprisingly Good for the PriceFor the price, this is a far better desk than I could have ever expected. It’s quite solid and heavy when assembled and though the “wood” doesn’t hold up to close scrutiny, it looks perfectly passable for everyday use. In general, it was easy to assemble and has been excellent to use.

StunningThis table is seriously so gorgeous, we get compliments on it every single time we have guests over. We put it in our large eat-in kitchen as a coffee table/working desk for bills and such and it’s stunning. We love the pattern and the quality!

Go to IKEA – The quality is better…and that says a lot.This desk will definitely not take a lot of use. The “wood” is extremely thin and flimsy. The description states that this is wood. It absolutely is NOT. The printed verneer is pixalated and cheap looking. Conversely, the metal legs appear to be sturdy and well constructed. If the crappy, cheap cardboard “wood” is replaced with actual wood, this desk would be a keeper. As is, I’ll let my 15 year old use it to prop up his video games. Bottom line, this desk was over $200 and definitely not worth the price. For less than 1/2 the price, go to IKEA and get something that has a real wood surface mixed in with the particle board.
