Made of corrugate cardboard! Really!!This box spring was delivered when expected. The outer carton was damaged with a long gash approx 18″ long. The driver/delivery man said, “oh, I can see inside, the cover isn’t damaged”. Meanwhile, after he left we started removing the outer packaging. When we finally got it all off, the box spring was damaged. The white stretchy cover was fine, the cardboard underneath had the same gash as the outer package. Yes, cardboard underneath. The box spring is made with actual corrugated cardboard, then a thin stretchy fabric covers that. The mattress sits on top of it. It is very cheaply made. I can’t believe it is made out of corrugated cardboard! Since the delivery guy left, and we needed the bed to be ready, we didn’t return it. We put the end with the hole at the feet, thinking that is the least amount of weight at that end. Very unhappy with the cardboard box spring. We bought this box spring because it was made in USA, it is very overpriced for what it is. It is an embarrassment that something made in USA is so low in quality.
