OK for the moneyI purchased the cherry finish gilder and ottoman with lumbar pillow and chocolate cushions. Before purchasing, I went to my local baby supply store and test drove a few after narrowing down my selection based off online customer reviews (I would highly recommend doing this). At first, I didn’t think that having a gliding ottoman to go with it would make that much of a difference, but after trying them out in the store, I realized that when one is actually gliding, it’s very helpful to have your legs and feet move in tandem – and at nearly the same level as your waist. The lumbar pillow is an added bonus – if you need/like extra back support like me, it does the trick. Other reviewers had mentioned that the chair was too small for them, but it fits both me and my husband comfortably: I’m 5’8″ (36 weeks pregnant) and my husband is 6’3″ (we are both fit people, so we are at our appropriate weight/height ratio). I’m glad I got the chocolate cushions since it will not show stains easily like the lighter colors. As another reviewer has previously stated, the fabric is very odoriferous; put it in the fresh air for a few days, or at the very least, open the windows in the room prior to use.My husband put it together with ease, but the female end of one of the snaps on the armrest came off when he tried to snap the cushion to it. We were able to engineer it ourselves, but it shows that this is another one of those mass produced products from China. (More evidence of this is assembly with the provided allen key – as are most mass produced products these days.) I don’t see this chair being passed to future generations because it is not heirloom quality. If you’re willing to invest the money in purchasing this chair, and you want something that is of high quality and able to be passed down to your children, spend a little more and buy heirloom quality from your local furniture store.Overall, it’s comfortable, glides smooth, and is aesthetically pleasing.–UPDATE–My son is now a little over three weeks old and we spend a lot of time in the rocker during night time feedings. It is very comfortable and the bonus pillow helps to prop him up when he nurses. The only thing that could use some improvement is if the rocker reclined. Also, if you do not have carpeting in your bedroom (we have hardwood floors), be sure to put a mat under the rocker and glider as it slides on the floor very easily. More than once I’ve had the ottoman slide out from under my feet when rocking.–UPDATE–8/2013–I have used this chair for both of my children. My second little one is now seven months old. Just last week, one of the springs popped out of the seat of the chair and we are having difficulty repairing it. It’s not a spring-y type spring, it’s a hard formed metal spring with a peg in either end. Each peg sits in a hole on opposite ends of the seat. I’m dropping my rating by one star for this malfunction. We use our chair normally, don’t ever slam into it or rough with it in any way, so there’s no reason the spring should have popped out. Still working on a fix.

For now this will sit at 3 stars. For now this will sit at 3 stars. The seat came cracked in several places, so I’ve contacted the manufacturer via their website and am waiting a response. This isn’t a new experience for me since I had a similar situation with the crib we got from Dream On Me so I’m not too upset about it. However, DOM had amazing customer service, so I’m hoping Storkcraft will give me a similar experience.Update: This will stay at 3 stars, but not because of the warranty service. Storkcraft sent me an entirely new frame to replace the broken seat, which came with a broken back piece. Not a huge deal, since I only needed a new seat, but I decided to store all the extra part in case any bits break down and it would have been handy to have a spare back piece. There was some creaking and groaning from the hardware of the new base at first, but I used some silicone lubricant on all parts and it’s gone away. WD-40 alone is NOT an effective lubricant, so definitely get the specialty stuff. The three star rating is for a few things:We had one snap on the armrest that would just not go in. I tried everything, my husband tried everything and we eventually had to resort to using tools to force it in. My suspicion was that the female snap was damaged in some way, but at that point I’d already had to order a new glider base and I wasn’t super interested in making a claim for the cushions for the single snap. And I also didn’t want an extra set of ugly cushions lying around my house needing storing. Which brings us to…The color of the fabric. The picture shows a green closer to spring green which perfectly matches the colors I was wanting for my nursery but the cushions are more of a light olive/khaki color. I’m really disappointed by this and if I hadn’t already gone through so much trouble already with this thing I might be tempted to pack it back up.Finally, the relatively small size compared to similar rockers. I fit nicely in it even at 28 weeks but my husband is 5’9 and average build and he’s a tiny bit cramped in it just by himself, let alone holding a baby. We test drove some similarly priced rockers at local stores with more room in the seat, but couldn’t get the finish/cushion color we wanted so ordered this brand instead. A little disappointed in the narrowness,All in all, I’m not really regretting my decision to get this glider. It’s relatively comfortable, although the cushions feel like they will easily compress and flatten over time. The color is super disappointing, but getting replacement parts was pretty painless and exclusively over email, which was nice. The gliding motion is smooth, and silent once you get everything lubed up correctly.

Perfect chair perfect price!I was a little worried about this chair from all the iffy reviews… but I’m on a budget and couldn’t find anything else in my price range…. I must say for less than 200 dollars this chair went above and beyond my expectations. It looks gorgeous, The colors are spot on, and the style is great… it looks just as good as the pictures on Amazon, and maybe even a little cuter in person!I was worried it would be too small based on some of the reviews… It IS small.. but it is not TOO small. I could live with a few more inches here and there, but again, for the price and for what I need it for (nursing.) It will do the job wonderfully. My husband, (6ft 190 pounds.) fits in it just fine.I give it a 3.7 out of 5 on the comfort scale… so far, we haven’t broken in the cushions which I’m sure will help. The cushions are your standard inexpensive cushions… The suede is soft. It did have a strange manufactured odor when we took off the plastic, but that has since subsided. No squeaks….. yet.My husband put it together in 20 minutes. Although he might disagree, he isn’t the worlds best carpenter… so if he can do it in 20 minutes, your husband can do it in 15. =)I gave this chair 5 stars because It is worth every penny. If this glider was 300 dollars the review would be different. However for less than 200 bucks I got a good looking, good quality glider and ottoman on my door step in 3 days with free shipping. Can’t complain one bit.

Fabric was poor.We bought the Tuscany Custom Glider and Ottoman, Cherry/Pink Blush Swirl. Assembly was quick and easy and chair shipped quickly. It is sturdy and comfortable. The fabric that cover the cushions is horrible and definitely not microfibre suede as advertised. It is not soft and feels cheap. We got the light pink color and you can see the yellow of the cushions through it. The cushion can’t be removed from the footstool and is difficult to clean and keep clean due to the material. It will need to be recovered to be used in a family room or sold after baby no longer needs it.
