Great product so far!I’m the wife of Caleb, but I’d like to write the review myself, as I use a rocker more often then my husband does.Durability: GoodRocking: Smooth and quietComfort: GreatPrice: GreatOverall: Definitely a wonderful product! (Read below for full review)We bought this rocker to take place of the old family rocker that we’ve had in the family for 3 generations. We weren’t looking for something too expensive, or made of solid wood that would last a lifetime, but something that would allow us to preserve the rocker we don’t want to lose.Long story short, we have a 2 and a half year old, and very soon (I’m 38 weeks pregnant) an infant. My son that’s 2 has a hard time falling asleep on his own, so he generally has one of us put him to sleep at night, or during his naps. It’s hard to put him to sleep sitting in an old rocker that’s falling apart and creaks badly due to the wood splitting, and I like gliding rocking chairs more for the fact that I’ve got relatively short legs that can’t always reach the floor when rocking in a traditional rocking chair. I’m 5’3″ and 170lbs to give you an idea of the weight being used on this rocking chair. We had received this rocking chair Tuesday 1/15/19 (I will be writing an updated review after a month, then a few months after purchase about how it’s holding up) and got it together before my son’s first morning nap. I got my son to sleep in less than 5 minutes rocking lightly in this chair, and was amazed it didn’t creak or make any noise while rocking (or at least not audible for a tired little one to hear). The cushions are comfortable, and the material is very soft and I think durable. We did follow the other reviews to inspect every piece of wood before assembling (as we do nearly every product we order online), and test it with different people to check for wood splitting, or other broken pieces to make sure it was in good shape. The rocker came in quickly (less than 6 days), came in the color we wanted (white paint, dark grey cushions), and every piece was there and not broken in any way. After testing it for a couple days to see if the result was the same with my son (every nap, and right before bed), I could not imagine having anything else! My son every time for his naps, and going to bed at night, would fall asleep in less than 15 minutes! It was definitely more of a miracle for us as it usually takes us 30 minutes to an hour to get him to sleep. For those looking for a solid wood and extra durability on the chair, I would recommend looking at finding a carpenter to make you one, or find a local store that sells them, but I know for a fact that rocking chairs do not come cheap when they are made with more durable products. If you’re looking for a rocking chair that will last you maybe a year or two, this one is perfect for the price. I’ve sat here and read review after reviews, both good and bad, old and new on this product and I understand the concerns people have about it, but mistakes can happen, especially with furniture. Not to be judgemental, but this rocking chair is definitely not made for those who are on the heavier end, I’d recommend a swivle rocking chair or a solid wood traditional rocking chair for those that are.Don’t let these negative reviews fool you, this is a great product for the price, and so far have had no complaints about it, the ottoman, or the lumbar pillow (which these two were a huge plus for the price!) After about a month I’ll post another review with how this product is holding up, and if it’s still as I mentioned before.Update after 2 months of use:Even after using this rocker about 3 times a day with my 2 year old and my infant the rocker is amazing quality. Still rocks just as smooth as day one, still just as comfortable, and still just as sturdy. I would still buy this product again! Love it still!

Nice, but kind of uncomfortableI’ve been using this glider for about 6 months now. You don’t have to put much of it together. So assembly was pretty easy. It glides really well. The foot rest glides also. Doesn’t squeak or anything like that. It’s also cute and matches my decor. I use this to nurse my baby and my boppy pillow fits nicely. The gentle rocking helps the baby a ton.The downsides: the stitching is coming apart on the foot rest already and it has a permanent “dent” in the middle of the foam from my feet resting there. The cushion is also not thick enough on the seat. It doesn’t take long for your butt and tail bone to start hurting. I had to add a throw pillow on the bottom to sit on. I really only use the chair to nurse. When I’m not nursing, I’ll sit on my couch because this is too uncomfortable on my backside.

Not the best or worst, worth the priceIt came in a huge box which looked kind of daunting. Once I opened it up I saw it was going to be very simple to put together. Attach the arms & back then. Add the cushions. I did this all while rocking my fussy baby. As for comfort, I’m tall and have to slouch down a bit to rest my head, other then that the cushions are decently comfortable, not as great as some more expensive ones I’ve tried out but def worth the price you pay for this glider. The biggest issue I have with it, the most annoying screeching sound it makes, it’s literally driving me Insane and I’ve only had the chair half a day!

Absolute Trash!I gave this piece of garbage five stars so all of the people that only look at the five star reviews would possibly read this!! Do Not Buy! The material is so thin you can see the color of the padding thru it. Not to mention that each piece of horribly stiched cloth is either a lighter or darker color then the next. As some have said about this crap chair the build is horrible…(clearly zero quality control) cheap wood and padding…..slapped together and shipped out garbage!

Rock My Baby To SleepEasy to install, I rock my grandbaby to sleep every day using this chair. I love the gliding system on both the chair and the ottoman.

Comfy, stylish and good qualityI’m really happy with this chair / ottoman. It came more quickly than expected (although UPS falsely emailed me twice about it arriving early, but that’s an issue with UPS) and in excellent condition. It is VERY simple to put together (and comes with the allen key needed to do so). It is very comfortable, looks good and is good quality. We’ve had it for 2 weeks, and have used / enjoyed it every day. I would highly recommend it, especially via Amazon as it included free shipping and was $100 cheaper than I found anywhere else online. I chose this chair because it looked quite stylish (and I’m very happy that in-person it looks as good as I was hoping), and was waiting for there to be a catch at the fact that it was $1,000 cheaper than any other nursery chair I was looking at.

Broke after one use.My wife sat in it once after it was assembled and it broke. Seriously? That’s what almost $400 cdn gets these days. So disappointed.Oh and also, one of the buttons was clearly mashed in the press and was no way to attach both buttons on the arm rest, which I could have lived with, but it broke so ya.Do a better job QAing your products, because that is just unacceptable.

Storkcraft Tuscany Rocker is a good product and reasonably pricedThe chair was bought as a gift. I was able to assemble it easily and “test-drove” it afterwards. It was a smooth, quiet “ride”. The cushion might have been thicker but overall it was comfortable. Thankfully the ottoman comes assembled. It appears to be an excellent product for the money. Once the pregnant recipient uses it I’ll know better about the durability.
