Nearly PerfectI’ve been wanting one of these chairs for a really long time. When I saw the price point on this model, I went ahead and purchased it. I feel like it would be an investment for my home office. I found that there was a little bit of damage when I was unpacking it, but nothing significant enough to warrant contacting the seller. Pictures are included. The construction seems pretty solid. I like how soft the base is but I think the little seat could have a bit more cushion. Since the picture was taken, I raised the seat so I would have more options for sitting. However, I had to take the wheels off in order to sit at my standard size desk with the seat portion higher. This doesn’t bother me because I don’t move the chair around, but I could see this being an issue in an office where the chair had to move. Overall I’m very satisfied with the purchase. I just wish the base went a little lower so I could adjust the seat height without forcing myself to sit too high.

Ouch! Nope… bummer.I’m one of those cross-legged sitters that these kinds of chairs are marketed towards, so I was excited to find one this reasonably priced. Sadly, I may have to disassemble and try to return this one.It was easy to assemble so I’m hoping that disassembly and re-packaging will be easy enough but we’ll see. I ordered the chair in black, and the center piece came covered in gray fabric. No complaint there, but not as pictured online. On the lowest setting, I sat a little too high for my desk but I decided to give it a shot this morning anyway. Fast forward 2 hours and the cushion had gone almost completely flat which lead to pressure on my sitz bones. I tried to put the chair cushion I’d been using with my old chair on it, but that put me way too high, even after I moved my keyboard off of the tray and onto the desk surface itself. If someone heavier than myself tried to use this chair, I’m sure that the discomfort would be even worse. Maybe if you’re a tall, thin yoga sitter you’ll like this chair but I’m apparently too short and heavy at 5’4″& and 185 lbs.ETA for size reference: This is the desk I have, purchased here on Amazon.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DRQ618K?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

Too tall, not too comfyI love the concept of this chair but unfortunately, it is too tall, even at its lowest setting, for my desk at work. Also, the seat padding is quite hard. Not really worth the money.

Super comfy if you like cross legged sittingI love this chair! My back hurts less when I use it and even after a few hours it feels ok! I need to shift a bit, like any chair, but can always find a new comfy position. Highly recommended if you prefer sitting on the floor or cross legged!

Great chairI am very happy that I found this chair. The little butt platform is a great idea to make sitting cross legged even more comfortable!

Perfect chair for meEdit – 9 months later. The padded stool cover makes all the difference. I still use the chair daily. I alternate between standing and sitting in the chair. This was a Christmas gift. I am constantly trying to sit with a leg up, or criss cross and this chair lets me sit in all the ways. I love it. So far I have sat a few hours each day and the seat could use a bit more cushioning but it’s not bad for me at all (this may be because I too have natural “cushioning”) . I ordered a memory foam stool cover to add. This chair is definitely a dupe for a more expensive chair many can not afford.Edit – One month later and I use this chair for work every day. The memory foam stool cover I added gave it that needed cushion. After 3 hours I do need to stand and stretch out before getting back on. My knees get sore after that long, even with my contant fidget/moving around. Zero complaints so far. So happy I can sit criss cross as I type away. I’ve seen a few reviews commenting on the chair height. It is taller than a general desk chair and benefits from a desk that you can adjust the height on. It also comes with a grey cover over the perch. This is just to protect it in shipping. Remove it when you assemble.

Pretty good chairAs someone who prefers to sit cross-legged (it’s better for your back if you do it correctly) I was excited to come across this chair. There were no reviews yet, but I decided to risk it and take the plunge. It’s definitely easier to sit cross-legged in this chair than in a normal desk chair, and it wasn’t too tough to put together. My only complaints are that the chair is too high for me to sit comfortably with my knees under my desk (not necessarily the chair’s fault); there’s no backrest, which makes it feel a bit precarious to sit on; and I would rather the seat itself be flush with the place where you rest your legs (I sort of fixed this by removing the seat entirely). All in all, I’d say that while there’s room for improvement, it wasn’t a bad purchase—especially when the other versions I found were $600+.

I love the design! – Maybe give the perch time to inflate properlyI LOVE the actual design, however. It fits with how I prefer to sit.It was pretty easy to put this together. When I put the top perch part down into the base part, I used the screwdriver thing that came with it to line it up before I put in the actual screw. I think this made it easier. My top perch flattens quite a bit when I first set this up, which was uncomfortable. I think it was due to me sitting on the edge of it. When I sat back, it still flattened a lot but it wasn’t as uncomfortable. The next day, I dont think it flattened or I didn’t notice it. I’m sitting on it now, day 3, and I dont think it is flattening. It could be like a new foam mattress that needs time to inflate fully.I LOVE the chair. I want to give it 5 stars for being available way cheaper than the popular brand, but the seat does flatten so… idk
