Awesome Product Heavy Duty for Sure Honest ReviewI was originally going to order the normal Topsky standing desk , but right when i was about to finish my order another option appeared for a more heavy duty version . So i went ahead and purchased this one since i was going to be using a solid wood butcher block style counter as the table top .I was very impressed with the quality of the standing desk, materials are very sturdy and feel stout . Doesn’t feel like cheap thin metal .The installation was pretty straight forward , i can say the manual is not a specific model manual but more of a generic manual for Topsky standing desk legs. Either way it was pretty simple to assemble once you get rolling. I recommend having two people to make it easier since moving the parts around and aligning the holes with the heavy parts is not super easy .The metal finish is somewhat of a Satin black finish, it is not glossy nor matte which is perfect for me .I had read in the reviews on the other Topsky model that the wiring was way to short for the controller , on this one all cables were long enough for easy install and plenty of length . Just make sure to plan out correctly in the install before you screw everything in .Performance wise , i have only had it a day or two but it is working perfectly . The motors are super quiet and smooth operation. It easily moves my Butcher block countertop and everything on it with ease.Im about 5’8″ and when i raise it to a standing position the table or legs barely wiggle from side to side. at the moment my table measures 64 inches and i have the legs set 2 inches from the corner on each side. I can imagine this helps on reducing the wobble motion. I raised to its max setting which definitely is to tall for me but even at its highest setting it still feels pretty solid.Packaging was very good , all parts were individually foam protected and the company gives you plenty of mounting hardware .One note on the installation, in the manual it does not mention to insert the hole guides to help you place the screws for the extension rails. I later found that viewing the video they provide in the manual , it mentions the use of the guides. Please use them, it will make guiding the screws a lot easier for install .I will update in a couple of months to see how it is still operating.

Been going strong for 1 year and 9 monthBought two of these to create standing desks for myself and my son. We picked up some nice Saman Live edge butcher block slabs as the tops. Everything was just a matter of attaching the stand to the board then running the wires. They also provided the clips to allow you to route the cables for power and the controller. We also bought under desk cable management trays so we could route the cables for the computers and monitors we loaded down the computer with. They are plenty strong to raise all the references, note books, computers, monitors and miscellaneous items we have on our desks. They also raise to a good tall height for when I want to stand. Desk still feels sturdy even when I have it raised close to the maximum height. The control on the desk seems a little flimsy but it seems they may have improved those.End result is good looking and functional.

Topsky for the win… again! This is my second Topsky desk and these guys never manage to disappoint. I opted to bring my own top and they accommodate with the necessary hardware to install. Let’s went together with ease, and merged with my butcher block top effortlessly! I went over kill with the highest capacity legs and 300 lb capacity. While we’re only in the first 24 hours of use it appears to check all the boxes for a great standing desk without the sky high prices from their competitors.

Solid with Silky-smooth actuationThis thing is nice! It is HEAVY- as it should be. It feels really solid. I have the extension bars out almost to their maximum and there was little play in them, which is remedied by bolting them to the desktop. As for assembly, it wasn’t difficult, but the instructions were of little help. Having a second person to assist holding components and finally flip the assembly over when its all together is recommended (I did it alone, it was kind of a pain.)A minor point of contention is that the motor control unit mounts to the desktop, rather than the frame, while one of the competition’s models does the later. (That model is advertised to support less weight than this one, however.) Additionally, while the motor controller is provided with mounting points to screw into the desktop, the AC adapter is not. Easy enough to strap it with some band iron, though. I would figure they sourced the adapters as-is from the factory, but they do come with a peculiar (proprietary?) connector, so it would have been nice for them to add a way of mounting it.I have a half sheet of 3/4″ plywood for my desktop, along with a heavy duty 3 monitor stand and a very heavy full-tower computer and there is no sign that the motors struggle to lift the weight. The motion is in fact, extremely smooth and satisfying. I can’t help but send it off to standing mode and back again just to watch how gracefully this thing moves.Having just assembled the thing today, time will be the test, but for now, I am extremely satisfied.

Good product overallThe motors on mine does a “thunk” from time to time when I lower it or raise it, but besides this it has been solid. Using it with a wood counter top from Ikea, 2 monitors, speakers and my pc on top of it and it seems to handle it all pretty well so far. Hopefully it will last over time but only time can tell.

Great Standing DeskI bought this frame assembly because it had a higher weight load capacity than others. It’s easy to assmble, moves smoothly, and all around a great desk. I bought a thick wood countertop from Home Depot and made a nice size desk. I sanded and stained the wood and at the end of the day, I had a full and complete standing desk for around $600.

Super easy to Set Up, Works As ExpectedI used this to convert a desk from the 60s to a sit-stand desk. The legs are wide enough for the existing base to sit between the posts. My desk had a really large desktop already so I just detached it from the base and attached it to lift. Now I’m able to raise the same desktop up when I want to or have it rest just above the existing base with drawers when I want to sit. Super happy with how this turned out!

Great product! It wasn’t so easy to build was able to do it by myself but I’m glad it came with a QR code to watch the installation video. Other than that very sturdy worth the money!

This base is worth it if your desk is rather heavy like mineHigh quality construction and the motors can handle a lot of weight.
