We wanted to make something portable and lightweight so it would be easy to pack in a car or place out on the deck on a nice day. But beyond just having something easy to carry we wanted to make some thing that would support the back and the hips.
All of the items (backrest, hip support wedges, and the floor pad) fit neatly inside the box so you can store in a closet or next to your sofa.
Just 8lbs (3.6 kg)
- At only 8 pounds it feels incredibly lightweight.
- The box is made from a super strong and lightweight wood called Paulownia
- Paulownia wood is also used for ski and surfboards for the same reasons, strong while still being lightweight.

- The Ungloo Box is a portable and supportive meditation chair that is specifically designed to give you actual back, hip, and knee support.
- Put it on your deck at sunrise, take to a park (or anywhere else you may want to meditate), use inside your home or easily store it away.
- The bottom has four felt pads that keep it from scratching the floor.

Great product and great companyThis product solves all my problems when trying to meditate on the go. The chair is easy to assemble, comfortable, has great storage utility, and is not heavy to carry. Also the company is run by great people who truly believe in their product and its cause!

Meditation is the best and this helpsIt took me a few times to get used to the feel of this, but now I am really liking the support it provides. It helps provide the firm sit bones needed for a deeper session of meditation. Thank you for creating this wonderful product. 🙂

not for people with short legsI am not able to use this as intended because when I sit cross legged ( position shown in pictures) my legs are not long enough to reach the triangle pillows that support you. I will keep trying solutions to adjust for this but if you have shorter legs this product is not for you.

Saved my practiceJust used this set for a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat. Super comfortable, compact and surprisingly light. I’m amazed the foam seat remains undented after so many hours continuous sitting. For a fidget like me, this meant I was able to stop constantly changing my posture and focus instead on sensations. Of course, no posture is without some discomfort eventually, but the knee support blocks helped me shift position a little without disturbing fellow meditators. The only improvement I could suggest would be some kind of soft-touch lining for the top slot for the back support, which can occasionally make a light ‘knock’ sound when you first sit down – but that’s a small criticism overall.

The knee supports were to HARD making the meditation sessions uncomfortable!The seating and back support was great! BUT the knee supports were to Hard and uncomfortable!

Even better than anticipatedIt is a very practical and comfortable piece. Small footprint in my room and am looking forward to bringing it on a 5 day retreat. Only used one day, very comfortable and I like options to adjust. I am 5’4” and 130 lbs.

great meditation combo!This combo works for me! at 5’9″ I needed something that helps me bend my legs comfortably. Now my legs don’t fall asleep or ache afterwards. This is perfect! The back support is key and the cushions are firm, won’t wear out soon. Very pleased!!

Relax instantly, fidget less!I love my UNGLOO Box meditation seat because it’s an elegant “destination” for my regular meditation practice. Even though I’m a regular meditator and quite flexible, I love the backrest and knee/hip support because I can meditate longer and go deeper than I otherwise would sitting cross-legged on the floor. I relax instantly and fidget less!

ComfyI was unsure how I felt about this at first. But after looking for something to help me with gotten for Meditation this is what i decided on. It’s easy to put together. And super comfortable. Cute as well when but being used or looks like a bench.

Good back supportNewbie at meditating. Was getting discouraged because of lack of comfort when trying to meditate on the go. This little box has helped with that. Great back support and very comfortable. Quick and easy set up and take down.
