Affordable Cart with Some AwkwardnessI’m happy with this stand for the money, however it has some downsides. When I purchase it was on sale for $203.50. The stand looks nice, and it was the right size for my kitchen.Pros:- The cart looks nice put together.- I like how the door attaches to the cart with the pivoting springs, and the curved edge on the side that swings is a smart design.- I was able to put *almost* the whleCons:- I was not able to put everything together with the parts I was given. In the pictures you will see 2 screws where the longer one is supposed to go in, but it doesn’t go any farther than shown in the picture. I think I am going to purchase extra screws the same size as the smaller ones, as I believe they will work. It’s annoying to not be able to fully put the cart together, though the pieces that I didn’t finish were the towel and knife holders, which aren’t really essential for me.- The parts don’t have stickers for labels. I carefully laid them all out and figured out what was what, but this could make it harder to put together.- Like many modern instructions, there aren’t a lot of words to avoid having to translate them, so you need pretty good visual spatial skills to be able to figure out what you are supposed to do and what the arrows mean.- When I open the drawer or the spice rack, the wheel locks aren’t enough to keep the cart in place. This might not be true once I have it full, but it is while it is empty.- The drawer is awkward to open, as is the drawer lock.- When the spice rack is open, it not only takes up about 11 inches on the left hand side (I expected this based on the pictures), but also takes up about 5 inches to the back of the cart. In order to have clearance with walls and countertops, it needs to be farther than this away from them. I wasn’t expecting to have to sit this cart out from the wall in order to be able to use it, that seems a little awkward.- The lock for the spice rack feels pretty crude.

Tip For Putting It TogetherThe main reason I wanted a cart like this was:1. To hold a countertop dishwasher too big to fit under the cabinets, so it needed wheels for me to move it around where I needed.2. To enclose and keep my trashcan out of sight. I did not assemble the shelf inside and left it open – trashcan fits perfectly and keeps the ugliness and smell inside! For these two things, it works great! I’m a little concerned that the wood, while very sturdy seeming, would be prone to rot if it gets too wet so I plan to put down a square of carpet under the trashcan and a protector on the top. It rolls smoothly, the side that opens up holds all our tea and hot chocolate, and it overall looks pretty nice!I was impressed with the thickness of some parts of the wood, and very unimpressed with the thickness in others. The front door, for example, is very thin and could very easily be broken. But the wheels are nice and heavy and I like that the door has a magnet, and the side door has a lock (though that same side door will make trying to keep this unit neatly against the wall at all times impossible, if that’s what you want).Assembly, though….. Huge pain. The items were packaged nicely for us and I appreciated that some bits – like the screws to the handles – came already screwed into the part so there was no confusion. Instructions could be a little better, we did accidentally put the base on backwards and didn’t realize until it was time to add the front door and the bottom was missing the correct hole.BIGGEST COMPLAINT that knocked a star off: The holes are pre-drilled but NOT with a threaded bit. This means when you screw parts together, you’re threading the hole yourself and because the hole is very tight, your hands and wrists are in for a rough time. We struggled a great deal and it wasn’t just because of weak hands – one of the screws holding the paper towel dispenser STRIPPED. Hole is completely round. I genuinely don’t understand DIY furniture’s fascination with hex heads! So now that is very wobbly (which heavy duty glue failed to keep in place for more than a day. This was extremely aggravating but does not affect functionality).TIP: Every hole you need to fill with a screw – screw it in first, without the attached part. It was still rough but easier than just putting it together right off, and when actually attaching the part it worked much, much better. I wish I had done that before stripping the one.

Solid, sturdy, looks greatThe media could not be loaded.
I love this piece of furniture. I was scared it was going to take up too much space but it fits perfectly whenever I want to move it. Wheels move easily even over tile. Whole piece of furniture does move when rolling out the spice rack, wheel locks don’t prevent this from happening. I had to put it together myself and it took me 4 hours, but it does recommend two people worth together. The pieces that make up the butcher cart are solid and sturdy and feel like this will hold up for quite some time. The only complaint I have about this product is the drawer falls out easily if you pull it just a little bit too hard. I would say this was definitely worth the price tag.

Kitchenaid Mixer, Instant Pot 8 at, and Nutribullet, plus accessories – ALL FIT!Note: I purposely did not attach the butcher block and towel holder due to space!I love the versatility of this cart. I took pictures showing how I loaded it up. I specifically got this to stash my nutribullet, Instant Pot, and Kitchenaid stand mixer plus all my accessories. You can see on the exposed shelves, I have my kitchenaid mixer with 4.5 qt bowl and an 8 qt duo crisp Instant Pot (air frying attachments stored inside the unit). You can see all the accessories I was able to store in various places. The side cupboard holds the following:Top shelf: meat grinding accessories for mixerMiddle shelf: blade for nutribullet, trivet, mixer attachments, spiralizer attachments for mixerBottom shelf: nutribullet cups and handles/tops, silicone molds for baby food, sous vide, etc in the instant pot, various trivets and egg holder for IP.In the front cupboard you see:Top shelf: nutribullet and air fryer insert for IP.Bottom shelf: air fryer top for IP.In the drawer you see: work gloves and pasta roller for mixerOverall, I love this cart. It appears sturdy and made from solid bamboo instead of particle board. The casters are heavier duty and will hold up to abuse! I actually had to use a hammer to put them on and was very happy with how solid it all was!I assembled this item myself in an hour or so. I’m a busy 30 something mom of 3 kids, who were all home at the time. The directions were not extremely clear, but good enough to get the job done.We are planning on renovating our kitchen soon and this was meant to be an “in between” piece to make do until then, but I think we will be keeping this for some time!

Well built using bamboo wood (a very hard wood) – MAKE SURE YOU GLUE EVERYTHINGMake sure you use a good wood glue like Gorilla while joining the pieces together BEFORE screwing the joints together. This will be twice as rigid and last much longer.Docked a star (probably should have docked 2 stars really) for NOT PACKING THE WHEELS that are supposed to come with this. Shipping box was highly damaged, but the item itself survived UPS shipping.* Well constructed/engineered/fitment* Pieces go together logically and are precision cut with no splintering on the dado cuts* Good quality hardware/dowels/screws/joining bolts* Good quality and attractive top of solid (joined/glued) bamboo for a solid and stable cutting board* Cons- No wheels were in the box- Instructions could have been clearer (instruction sheets diagram/pieces were not lettered for corresponding ease of matching pieces to adjoining other pieces

Beautiful Kitchen CartI was a bit scared of making this purchase because there were no other reviews, however, I’m glad that I did go ahead and make the purchase. First, I’d like to state that the materials used for the cart are of very good quality. After assembly, it’s a good solid kitchen cart. My only complaint, is with the assembly directions and the lack of the manufacturer of labeling the parts. Something, that I have hope that the company will correct this problem and start labeling their parts, after reading my review. I am not new to assembling furniture. I lost my home in a fire 4 years ago. Since that time, I have purchased numerous replacement pieces of furniture. Normally, I can get them put together in a short period of time. I’ve seen pieces of furniture with shoddy parts, and I’ve seen good ones. This one is definitely of a higher quality. The only downfall is with directions and their lack of labeling parts. (Big problem, but easily corrected if they just put stickers on each part, like most other companies) When I first opened the box, and laid out the parts, and looked at the directions, I was dumbfounded, trying to even identify the parts that needed putting together and their lack of instructions in their assembly paper. All they really had were pictures that were difficult to understand. I went so far as looking for a video for assembly and even went to Winsome Trading Inc. to pull up the cart and see if they had an assembly information on the cart. All they had were numerous pictures of this cart in different viewing positions and that is what helped me with figuring out how the pieces were put together. Once I was able to identify the parts, by closely looking at the pictures on the Winsome Trading Inc., website, I was able to figure out how to put it together. I didn’t time myself, and took some breaks, but it took me roughly 4-5 hours to put together. I’m very pleased with the outcome.

Some of the screws are in a difficult area to put in.I didn’t have any one to help put this together, but the instructions were easy to follow. Had to be a bit of a contortionist to put in some of the screws. I’m very happy with this item and it is giving me more storage and counter space. I’m using it as my baking area.
