Took me an hour but would be easier with two peopleThis seems like a decent bed, I bought it for my guest room so I won’t know about sturdiness for a while, but it looks nice and seemed fairly sturdy while building it. However, it’s a beast to put together. I’m 5’4” and work an office job so I don’t have much muscle. I had to DRAG this box into the guest room it was so heavy, I feel bad for the delivery driver who had to carry it to my door on the 2nd floor. Next, at first, the way you put it together makes no sense what so ever. You have to match the numbers so 1 goes with 1, 2 goes with 2 and so on. The instructions oh so kindly have letters to tell you what piece goes where, but the actual pieces do not have letters on them so it’s fairly useless unless you are trying to see if you need a big piece or small piece (and no the easy to assemble video is not very helpful). But, once you get the gist it starts to make sense. The entire back with slats comes pre-assembled so maneuvering it into a position you can get screws in is rough by yourself, so if you can I suggest having someone help you for at least this part. It’s not impossible, I did it, but it was not easy. Once you get past that part, the rest is pretty easy, the wheels are a pain but they seem to be good quality. Overall, it took my about an hour to put together alone and for $200 I’m happy with what I got so far.

HEAVY BOX with all pieces still insideOpen the box and take the pieces out if you want an easier way to get the pieces into the room where you want to assemble the bed frame. The bed seems like it will be very sturdy. It’s day two so I can’t be certain how well all the joints will stay together yet.The oily machinery smell made me sneeze & it was a little bit overwhelming. The odor was so strong I used an odor remover and a cleaner on the bed frame after I assembled it.Putting the frames together was rather simple but it was confusing a few times because the numbers were not always put in the correct places. The number system they used on the pieces helped me put the frames together without help from anyone else in the family. I sat in the room and looked at the diagrams & numbers and slowly put the bed together.IF the frames do not wiggle after the bed & it’s trundle are put to use that will be great.A star was taken off because of the oily machinery odor and because of the stickers being in the wrong places. If the company reads reviews about their products I would suggest they place a note on the exterior of the box or in some other appropriate area so the consumer is encouraged to open the box to take the pieces out once the box arrives. That box is heavy even when it’s placed on a dolly. I cannot imagine how difficult it was be for a couple of people to try taking that box up a flight of stairs when it would be much safer to just open the box and take the pieces out to move everything.

Bought 2 So yeah, I like themThey were relatively easy to put together. Seems sturdy. The grandchildren (4) loved having their own beds for overnight visits. They hold a twin size mattress, as opposed to a bunk. The trundle can be moved away from the bed. they simply slide under on unattached wheels.

Extra beds for guestsWe have a 2 bedroom townhouse and didn’t want to commit to making the second bedroom a full bedroom. We use it as an office. This bed is great because it can sleep 2 with the trundle and we use it as a couch, as a place for a quick nap, and when one of us is sick (as in Covid) and we need to sleep apart but be still be comfortable. I put 8 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed. The bottom trundle slides out and could be rolled anywhere-it’s not connected to the upper bed frame. We considered a trundle that can be made level with the upper bed but decided that would have too many moving parts and could possibly break or not be level with the top. We’re very happy with this bed. Very sturdy.

Perfect!I can’t say enough about this bed. The instructions were the best I’ve ever seen. Both the engineering team that designed its construction as well as the writers and illustrators that put together the instructions are absolutely first rate. Halfway through, I realized my dog had eaten the instructions, but it was so intuitive at that point that the instructions were no longer needed. They also have a great little video to demonstrate. This is also an amazing deal. I bought the mattresses by the same manufacturer, and they arrived in boxes and expanded as advertised. My guests have given the bed very high marks, both in appearance and comfort. Highly recommended!

Easiest piece of furniture I have ever assembledThe bed is sturdy and well-made, AND the instructions and numbered pieces made it so easy to assemble! It took me less than an hour (by myself), and I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was.

Numbers on rails match up – that easyLove it – good size. Now need decorative aspect!

  8. Jami

I had very few problems putting this together and didn’t really even have to watch the video!Love how it looks! So pretty!! Seems pretty sturdy, but noone has slept in it yet. It was used for a spare bedroom, traded an old clunky trundle for this new updated version!

Excellent value for the money! We needed a ‘bed/couch’ in our spare room and this was the best price we could find along with excellent reviews. Well the bed really did not disappoint! it is sturdy and looks wonderful in our spare room. The only part of it that is lacking is that on the top bed, there should be some kind of stopper to prevent the mattress from sliding forward and off the front rail. We did notice that when someone slept on it, we would have to make sure to push the mattress all the way back in the morning otherwise about 4 inches hung off the rail.
