Great buy!Very easy to assemble even for a single person. It is also lightweight so I was able to assemble it, put it in place and put the mattress over it all by myself in little over an hour. It looks and feels sturdy so far but my mind would be even more comfortable if it had a could of more horizontal supports. The gap between two slats are adequate not to sag the mattress. It also comes with all the tools and bolts necessary and a couple of extra bolts. Overall it is a great purchase.

Very surprised by the high quality of this wood mattress foundation.Excellent fit and finish of the product. Very easy to assemble. Took my wife and I about 15 minutes from start to finish. Simple instructions and nice “ratchet” Allen wrench included made the process simple. Everything fit together without forcing a screw or breaking a sweat. Well packaged with the Styrofoam being wrapped in plastic wrap to avoid mess. Just high quality all around and well worth the money, especially if you’re looking for a wood frame over a metal frame. Highly recommend.

Zuis 8″ wood mattress foundation. Easy to assemble and disassemble.First I must say, this is not the “box springs” from the old days. This is a “wood foundation” that replaces the old “box springs”. This works great with memory foam or latex mattresses and even hybrid mattresses and has lots of slats to support the “foam mattresses”. I purchased both a queen size (over a year ago) and a king size almost 2 years ago. I needed to move the queen size today, so it was disassembled – easy peasy. Let me emphasis that I kept the instructions and tools in a 3-ring binder that I have for furniture purchases, so I reviewed the steps, then my husband and I just reversed the assembly order!!! This is superior to the “box springs” that are sold with your mattress sets. After a while those old style “box springs” sag in the middle or in the case of king size, they sag on each side creating hammocks. I got rid of 2 mattresses before I discovered these wood foundations. No more saggy mattress now. I have purchased all sorts of medium to high priced mattresses for over 50 years and this works best.

Good quality and affordable.I purchased this item to replace our old creaky box spring and am pleased with this product. It arrived well packed and within the time stated. It was extremely easy to put together and came with necessary tools and extra bolts. All bolt holes lined up correctly and there were no splintered/cracked/broken wood pieces. The cloth cover was sized to fit frame and zipped up with no problems. Best of all it doesn’t creak!
