2+ Year reviewI’ve had this bed frame for around 2 1/2 years, and I have to say that the quality is impressive. As a plus-size woman (at the time of purchase I weighed about 330 lbs) this bed has not squeaked on me and is incredibly sturdy. I have stood on it to hang decorations, flopped around during restless nights, had multiple people sit on it at once, etc. and it has held up. I would recommend this for heavyset individuals who are tired of weak bedframes that break down. One suggestion though, get a piece of plywood to set across it to keep your mattress afloat and protect the longevity of your mattress.

Impressed.I originally recieved a full size instead of the queen size I ordered. It came in the most banged up box I’ve ever laid eyes in. The platform bed wasn’t in in wrap or anything. Just in the box like I recieved a used one. I contacted Amazon and they scheduled a replacement. The mail picked up the incorrect item and I received the correct size a few days later. It was in a regular box and wrapped in plastic with instructions on assembly. This thing was so incredibly easy to setup I was actually scared to try and use it. I am happy to say I have slept on this for 3 weeks now and so far I have zero complaints. No noise. Whatsoever and it feels incredibly sturdy. I purchased the 14in queen size. It hold my 12 in mattress which is 106lbs and myself who is right at 200lbs. The space for storage underneath is a huge added bonus. I sized up on my comforter to make sure it drapes over the sides and hides the storage. So far I am very pleased with this purchase and Amazon’s customer service!

Worth the $$I searched a lot prior to purchasing a bed frame. My son has one(different brand) and it’s super noisy. The almost 1k great reviews was what had me feeling this would be a good purchase. It was super easy to set up-less than 20 minutes. We have a king sized Tempur Pedic bed and it fits perfectly. There is no noise getting on or off the bed. We are now going to purchase a Queen size for our sons bed.

Very easy and quick setup.I chose the heavy duty version of this bed frame even though I am a small sized person. When the box was delivered I was able to drag it in the house and set it up by myself. It only took a few minutes. I liked it so much I bought a new 12inch Zinus mattress to go with the bed frame.So far I’m very happy with both products.

Sturdy support for your mattress!!I bought a split king foam mattress set recommended for heavy people. My husband weighs 375 pounds and I weigh 200 pounds. I also bought a bedframe from the same company. The mattress is great. The bedframe was crap and broke. I saw this and bought it. It is very sturdy. I do use velcro to keep our mattress from moving around since there is no “lip” to hold it. I was able to assemble it easily with no tools by myself and we love it. We’ve had it for three months now.

FabulousAbsolutely love these products we have them at my grandchildren’s houses and here at our own. Takes less than 4 minutes to set up. I got that extra heavy duty for my son he is the size of a linebacker doesn’t creak doesn’t bend. And you could even fold it up and take a camping with for an air mattress it’s so easy to move and the children can set it up all by themselves

Absolutely worth itI bought this frame to replace a wood frame that broke. I wish I had known about it years ago! It was affordable and easy to assemble, and it’s silent and sturdy for two plus-sized sleepers. It even makes our existing mattress more comfortable. It’s taller than I’d ideally want, but I knew that when I bought it, and I don’t regret that choice at all. Get it now!

Easy set up and very sturdyAs two heavy people with children who all like to pile up in our bed in the morning and have been known to jump on the bed, it has been difficult for our bed frames to hold up. This frame is a great sturdy solution. It was super easy to assemble – pretty much unfold and latch – took all of 15 min. We’ve been using the frame for a week now and it’s not bent anywhere or slid or did anything weird. Very happy and highly recommend.

MAY be worth its weight in gold.First, the delivery. No notice that they were coming or that it was delivered. I bought two queen 14 Inch Elite SmartBase Mattress Foundations. These are the extra sturdy (extra heavy) model. I found them in the morning, one of the boxes fell across the door. I live in a four family and two of them frequently need to call paramedics. Also, HUGH safety issue IF there was a fire!!!!! After getting the door open. I managed to get one inside to the first landing (I live on the 2nd floor) and decided to quit because I’d either have a heart attack or hurt my back. I am a 61 yr old female, btw…..not playing the age card but I am in no way muscular. I prayed the one I left outside would be there when I got home after work. So that was NOT good.But the frame itself is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Second, the setup. NO BRAINER!!! It was a SNAP! However, I have a queen size Purple mattress. This is more of an issue with the mattress than the frame but if you have one of these types of mattresses you may need help. I didn’t have any. These mattresses do not have handles and they are kind of like limp noodles (yeah, a hundred pound noodle) in that you cannot just shove it up against a wall and it will stay there. Nope. I sat on it so it would stay folded over and out of the way while I screwed the wing nuts. Then I pulled the frame close to me and the Purple……..I slid around to the other side and the purple sort of flopped on the edge of the frame. Then I was able to pull it across. Whew!I want to mention that I had a traditional box spring that I kept from my old mattress to use with the Purple which I bought this past summer. I was shocked to find that it was made with strips of pine wood, CARDBOARD and then a very thin piece of foam and fabric. I only know this because my cat ripped off the black fabric that was stapled to the bottom. I will never waste money on a box spring again!My bed was not exactly squeaking but it made a sort of creaking noise when I rolled over etc. Now I know why. But not with this new frame!!! No noise at all. It is a tad bit slippery BUT I don’t think that will be an issue when I am sleeping. I do have a mattress protector on the mattress…the kind that is like an envelope and zips up. IT is kind of slippery. However, I will need to be able to slide it a bit when changing the sheets as I have a tight corner to deal with and the frame does not have wheels. (that’s the only thing I wish it had, that and just a few more inches of height).Third, the storage, oh the storage!!!!! Glorious storage! Yes, is about 12 inches between the bottom of the frame and the floor. But there is PLENTY of storage. I read one review of someone sort of complaining that there is a “channel” and yes there is but that’s not an issue for me. I have some shorter boxes that I used with the box spring set up and they slide right under. I have a three piece soft luggage set that fits inside each other and it slid right under (it used to be in the closet). I am now LOOKING for stuff to stick under there! My closets were crammed……open the door and something will fall out crammed. So all this rearranging has helped me get organized and so far have taken of a TON of stuff to Goodwill.So all in all, great product. I bought the sturdier one as the mattress is already a hundred pounds and I didn’t want any issues with the bars bending. It is solid as a ROCK. I highly recommend it!

It is solid enough to hold 2 adults of any weight without squeeking.Compare to others with solid bars, we find this one to be better for us because the bars don’t have to be added one by one.Reviews mention squeeking on those and I surmise that even a little gap will cause frictionThese are soldered unto the frame.The price on these have almost doubled. Purchased the first two for under $120. Current price with 5ax is over $200.This last one we got for $133 from Amazon warehouse, so we are fortunate to have exactly what we needed at a reasonable priceAll this to say that even at the higher price, the built of this is way better than the ones with thin wires that leave deep indentations on a good/expensive mattress.
